Absolutely outstanding little place. The nicest most helpful personel. I joined the complementary yoga session, booked a massage at the spa and dined in with the most beautiful view and sunset.
Would highly recommend to experience this little gem.

The friendly staff make you feel at home straight away!

The staff are great, so friendly and service is amazing! We stayed in Ambong Ambong and would have our breakfast with great coffee at Rimba, which has beautiful views. The resort is hidden in the forest, which is very nice as it feels a totally different world out there with the birds & monkeys. We did enjoy a swim in the pool and a yummy dinner at Rimba restaurant (top level).

Ideal quiet luxury jungle surrounded by the sounds of nature and yet a stones throw from beach and amenities

We had a beautiful appointed apartment with a balcony and see view through the canopy of trees. A choice of two restaurants for breakfast and a shaded pool area to return to after a day touring the island. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

A unique and unforgettable experience

We had an amazing stay at Ambong Rainforest Retreat. We rented a two-bedroom cottage spread over three levels, completely immersed in the tropical rainforest — truly an exceptional setting.
The cottage was very spacious, spotless, and extremely comfortable, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding nature. Waking up in the middle of the rainforest was a unique and unforgettable experience.
And yet, it’s only a 10-minute walk to the beach, which makes the location absolutely perfect.
The staff were incredibly kind, friendly, and always helpful throughout our stay.
I highly recommend this retreat for anyone looking for a peaceful and unique stay in Langkawi.
