Feels like home !
Damai Beach Resort became our 2nd home as we, my husband and I sometimes with my kids every twice or 3 times in a month! We just love everything there, especially the friendly staff , the manager Mr Jimmy and the restaurant staff and front office staff, they are all so welcoming and friendly, we feel like home each time staying here . Thank you so much Mr Jimmy and staff , excellent service, you deserve the excellent service!

Damai Beach for 1 or 2 nights okay
What shall I write, the hotel/resort needs a serious update it is all quite outdated. Tiles that are loose on the walkways. Laminate that is loose, sockets that do not work. Rooms very noisy.
Is really faded glory, pool with tiles on the edge loose.
But the view is amazing.
The room was clean and the staff was very friendly.
The breakfast was good. Lots of choice.
We dined once and that was mediocre, I can also get at the takeaway Chinese. Outside are difficult because of ants on the tables.
Maybe I am biased because I always cook with fresh ingredients myself, problem is that I recognize whether something is fresh or not.
For 1 or 2 nights if you have a tour it is doable, for a holiday really not.
Hence an average rating

Bad Experience
Overall, my experience at the hotel was disappointing. There were several issues during my stay, including a blocked bathtub, a shower that was not working properly, and, most importantly, an incident where my room was mistakenly given to another guest by the receptionist. These issues created unnecessary inconvenience and made the stay far from comfortable.
However, I would like to give special recognition to Syuhada, who provided exceptional hospitality and handled the situation professionally. She listened to my concerns, took immediate action, and worked quickly to resolve the problems.
What impressed me most was that her words were followed by action. She didn’t just apologies or make promises—she actually took the necessary steps to address the issues. Her professionalism, responsiveness, and genuine care truly stood out.
That said, despite Syuhada’s excellent service, I still feel that the hotel does not live up to the standard expected for a comfortable and worthwhile stay. One good staff member cannot completely compensate for multiple service and facility issues. Hopefully, the management will take this feedback seriously and improve the overall guest experience.
Syuhada deserves recognition for her outstanding service, but unfortunately, based on my overall experience, I would not consider this hotel worth staying at again.

Disappointing
Food not top up at bornfire dinner. I pay almost rm190 for the food.
