An incredible stay at the Penthouse!
Never slept so high in my life!
Incredible private towering views over the gorgeous KL skyline!
The apartment itself is perfectly equipped with a beautiful terrace and hot tub!
Wish I didn’t have to leave!

Avoid at All Costs – A Presidential Apartment That Turned Into a Medical Emergency
I travel frequently around the world, and this was without question one of the worst accommodation experiences I have ever had.
We booked the Presidential Apartment to celebrate our wedding anniversary after three weeks of travelling across Asia. We paid a premium price expecting luxury, comfort and a safe place to rest before almost 24 hours of international travel back to Europe.
Instead, we found an apartment that was dirty, poorly maintained and completely inconsistent with the way it is advertised.
There was dust everywhere, dirty appliances covered with old residue, peeling paint, damaged walls, moisture damage, what appeared to be mould in the shower area, a mould-contaminated washing machine and numerous maintenance defects throughout the apartment.
Both my husband and I suffer from dust allergies. Shortly after entering the apartment I experienced a severe allergic reaction requiring medication.
After we complained, a receptionist tried to help by showing us another apartment. Unfortunately, she had not inspected it beforehand.
While escorting us there, she led me onto a terrace that had become flooded because water was leaking from the ceiling. The terrace and the steep marble stairs were completely unsecured. There were no warning signs and no barriers.
I slipped on the wet marble stairs and fell heavily.
As a result, I suffered extensive soft tissue injuries, a rapidly expanding haematoma measuring approximately 20 × 15 cm, multiple additional bruises and severe pain that made walking extremely difficult. I required urgent medical assessment before my international flights.
What shocked us even more was the complete lack of concern afterwards.
Nobody offered first aid.
Nobody asked whether I needed an ambulance.
Nobody checked whether I was safe.
Nobody from management came to see me.
We repeatedly asked to speak with the manager, but staff simply told us that the manager was unavailable and could not be contacted.
Even more astonishing, we were told that if we were unhappy, we could simply leave.
There is also no secure luggage storage. Guests' luggage is left in an open reception area accessible to anyone.
Because my husband had recently undergone surgery and urgently needed to administer medication, we asked whether we could briefly use a private space while waiting for check-in. We were refused.
Instead, after a sleepless overnight flight, we had to unpack and reorganise our luggage while sitting on the floor in the corridor in front of other guests. It was humiliating.
This is not what anyone expects after paying for a property advertised as a Presidential Apartment.
The swimming pool requires an additional charge, breakfast consisted of only a single sandwich, there is no restaurant and even pool towels are not provided. None of this was clearly communicated before booking.
This experience completely destroyed our wedding anniversary.
I have documented everything with photographs and medical records. Formal complaints have been submitted to Agoda and the relevant Malaysian authorities.
If you value your safety, your health and honest advertising, I strongly recommend choosing another property. Premium prices should come with premium standards. Unfortunately, that was absolutely not our experience.

Never again !
Very upsetting this time round. I had previously booked and stayed and was very happy with my stay. However this time I feel they care less and do not wish to keep their customer happy or satisfied. Every staff was working for the sake of it. First Agoda made a bad goof up of not providing breakfast when they had confirmed via email and we paid for it. Nothing got solved till the end and they kept blaming each other. Then was given room on 10th floor instead of 50+like earlier. This room was full of tiny cockroaches and very badly maintained. Will never be coming back to this property every again. Sorry you lost our customer.

Unpleasant experience for 2 nights as a family of 4 adults
Booked the place for 2 nights with my family. We did not have a pleasant experience as we encountered lots of issue pertaining to the room that we had.
Firstly, the walls were dirty and have some cracks at the corner of the wall. The circular carpet below the table in front of the tv were dirty.
Moving on to the rooms. The clothes cabinet made a squeaking sound after it was being closed properly. In the master bathroom, the showerhead pole on the wall was full of stains on the metal pole and was not able to move up or down as compared to the common bathroom. I did enquire about the tv for both living room and 2 single bedroom. Both do not have access to local tv channels and that the 2 single bedroom tv was not working.
What adds on to the uncomfortable and unpleasant experience was having a few small nymphs in the room. Caught a few in the small kitchen countertop, kitchen floor below the refrigerator and bathroom. Did enquire and raise my concern via Whatsapp. They do reply with immediate action. However, after the action was being done, the appearance of small nymph still comes back despite being told that they have inserted some insect powder.
Overall, my family and I had to bear with such issues but luckily it was for 2 nights.

Our unit had an excellent view of KL tower and other skyline views. The unit was spacious (2BR/2BA) and for the most part, up to date. The walls could have used a nice coat of paint, and the doors could do with replacing.
I’ve come to realize that in this humid climate, mold and cockroaches will always be present, so it’s just a matter of how much mold (in the bathrooms and shower) you are willing to put up with. As for the cockroaches, it wasn’t until the 3rd day when we finally encountered them (in the bathroom and kitchen). I guess no matter how high up you are, or how much you clean, they will always be present.
My biggest complaint has to do with security in the unit. There is no secondary door lock that prevents someone with the door code from entering the unit. Most hotels in the US have a way of latching the door while inside, but this unit did not.
