Unfortunately, it did not live up to its promises.
We arrived with relatively high expectations; the entrance hall is beautiful, cool, and grand. The path to the room was a bit strange, especially since the carpet was patched with duct tape in several places. In the room, the ventilation worked, but the air conditioning did not. The carpet was repaired with nails and was no longer fresh. Some lamps were crooked, the ventilation plastic was about to fall off, and some drawer knobs were missing. However, the bed was clean and the kettle was pleasant. Breakfast was diverse and very good. Centrally located. The metro is less than 100 meters away.
Since we only had two nights, it was okay. However, I would not book it again.

We stayed at the Royale Chulan Kuala Lumpur twice this year. It is a very beautiful, more traditional Malaysian hotel with an amazing foyer featuring huge chandeliers. The staff are very polite and helpful at all times, and the rooms were very comfortable and spacious. The buffet breakfast was the best I have ever encountered, with a huge selection of foods. We will definitely stay at the Royale Chulan again when in Kuala Lumpur and cannot recommend it highly enough.
