Nice apartment, strategic location, big pool.
A very pleasant holiday with the family, picked The Robertson as our place to stay because like home, we booked with 2 beds and complete with Living Room, kitchen, Kulkas, washing machine. After lunch in front of the apartment there are several restaurants at affordable prices. It is strategically located and can be reached on foot to Alor Street and Pavilion. See you

Not recommended
Need to Grab or drive to the city hot-spot. Nearest mall would be Lalaport.
Apartment atmosphere felt dull and uninviting. Despite getting a high floor at 32, it doesn't make things better. It feels like the whole place was put together just for the sake of renting it out. We have the habit of returning to our place of accommodation for an afternoon nap once a while but throughout the entire stay, we drag the thought of coming back and even checked out early. Actually, we almost wanted to get a new place to stay but because we were travelling with another family and it was inconvenient for them, we had to stay put.
There's fridge and shampoo and soap provided. No toothbrush, must purchase at RM5 and the toothbrush was pretty small. Seems like its children's toothbrush. No water or complimentary coffee or tea provided. They provide a tabletop ironboard which was inconvenient to use especially when the power socket is located a distance from the table hence we had to use it on the floor as we did not want to move the furniture. Toilet rolls are provided but not regular face tissue. The room is so small that there is no space for a side table so we had to leave our things outside which was such an inconvenience especially when charging our phone, it had to be placed on the floor. There's no side lamp of sorts so the whole room had to be fully lit if lights are needed in the middle of the night.
The cleanliness is also below standard. The towels for instance has a bad smell and were dirty. Toilet was also not that clean and had a coffeeshop toilet vibe. Water pooled in both the sink and bathroom due to poor drainage making bathroom use inconvenient for the user and especially next user. But we also realized that could be the reason for the sewage smell. The bathroom mat is so dirty the color was greyish brown! Shows that it was not washed properly. We saw an extra bed under the bed which was just shoved under and not made, this led us to question their cleanliness standard.
The first day was so noisy, but 2nd and 3rd day was fine, except for the constant dripping sound coming from the kitchen tap water which is especially loud at night.
The service overall was poor. The check in was ok and smooth but they couldn't put me and my friend on the same floor because according to the receptionist, they only manages certain units within the building. They also took super long to respond. For instance, I asked for bedroom slipper and toothbrush, it came 40mins later. When I realized that the towel is dirty and smelly and requested for a new one, they told me it will take about 30mins because the lift is busy. Yes, the lift service is extremely slow. You can expect to wait 5-7 minutes for the lift to arrive and perhaps wait even longer if the lift is full. They dont offer 24hour service as well. So request are not responded to late at night.
The bed had a noticeable dip in the centre, and the springs could be felt through the mattress. Pillows were also of low quality.
For those hoping to have a late check out, the apartment do not offer late check out service and charge RM50 for every hour.
Overall I would say that that the apartment stay did not reflect value for money and is not recommended especially if you are on holidays, it could really ruin the mood.

You have to turn a blind eye to the cleanliness, maybe even two.
Convenient location for getting around on foot and reaching the street food street as well as the more commercial area of the twin towers. The property is unfortunately not well maintained; the apartments are large and spacious, but the level of maintenance and cleanliness is really poor. Towels and sheets full of stains, we had a leak from the bathroom that flooded the room, the drains were not working well, and it was really dirty under and behind the beds. It's a shame because if it were better maintained, it would be truly excellent. Immediately below the building there are convenience stores and small restaurants.

Second visit for staycation
This is my second time staying here so far. Located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur City Center, right across from Jalan Alor—a must-visit for travelers trying authentic Malaysian street food. The atmosphere is cozy, and unlike other hotels in the area, it doesn’t feel too packed. The air conditioning in the room may have some issues, as it doesn’t get cold, time for service. Definitely value for money, since you get most of the amenities compared to a standard hotel. However, pest control is needed— there were many small cockroaches in the kitchen, toilet, and even in the room. The floor of the unit I booked wasn’t fully occupied, so it was quite quiet, though soundproofing around the main door could be improved. The front desk service is good, and there’s an ATM at the South Block in case you need cash for the deposit. There are 711 and 24 hours convenient store just next to the building.

Bad experience
BAD SERVICE !
I missed my flight because of this hotel’s system;
in my opinion, this is very inconvenient for guests as the service is only available from 08:00 to 02:00. That night, my friend and I forgot to bring our room keys, and I found myself locked out at 02:40. From that point on, I asked the security staff to help unlock the room, but they said they couldn’t because they didn’t have a master key, so I couldn’t get into the room. I rang the hotel management but couldn’t get through. I asked the security staff to contact someone—such as the technical department or housekeeping—who might have a master key, but they said they couldn’t because no one was on duty at the hotel. This is absolutely chaotic. What if there were a fire, an earthquake, or another disaster and they couldn’t evacuate guests trapped inside their rooms? How could this happen at a hotel that’s supposedly good but has such terrible service! I am extremely disappointed with my stay at The Robertson Kuala Lumpur (South), managed by Maplehome. In the end, from 3 am until 8 am, I waited in the lobby as there was nothing else I could do. My flight was at 10 am and I had to rush from KL to KLIA, and I ended up missing my flight because there wasn’t enough time!
