A calm and luxurious oasis

Beautifully restored historic gem in the heart of Georgetown. Tremendous staff,kind and courteous. Stayed in the heritage room. Spacious and comfortable. Accessible to the heritage area and all the delicious food of Penang

I really liked this hotel for its old world character, great amenities and the little touches like free afternoon tea

Overall this hotel was great. Staff was wonderful. Only reason why we didn’t give 5* was we had an early morning flight and the room lights are controlled so no ability to get ready with lights. We had to use the lights on our phones. The power works but the main lights in the room don’t. Mildly annoying but manageable.

Excellent hotel in the center of Penang

Fantastic hotel with (very) spacious and clean rooms, friendly staff and good service. If I come to Penang again, I will definitely book a room here again

Nice hotel near George Town centre

What a beautiful hotel this is! In an English Colonial building, with beautiful details; we had a large family room, which was really spacious and well cooled with 2 air conditioning units. Near the historic center. Beds and showers totally okay. Amenities are fine, although not a dining option but this is made up for by a free tea hour with treats between 3 and 5. Extremely friendly staff.
