The room was listed with AC but clearly this is an error. Check-in instructions on Expedia are nonexistent, and necessary, especially if arriving by bus as there is no phone signal in the area.
The food is ok (you are a bit of a captive market there) but expect a lot to be missing from the menu.
Some of the walks/activities could be better mapped out and information generally improved.
It’s a shame as the location is really nice and it could be a no brainer destination to visit if a few screws were tightened up.

SpringRiver

Our stay has been fabulous. The workers have been very friendly and attentive. The day we arrived we were greeted with cold tea on a terrace overlooking the river. The sunsets are beautiful and we have enjoyed a visit to Konglor Cave and a fantastic kayak ride. For me it was the best hotel of my stay in Laos.

By the river!

The rooms on the river, River view bungalows, are fabulous.
The staff is nice and efficient.
There are plenty of activities nearby, caving, hiking, kayaking, swimming...
Good food and good breakfast.

An amazing glimpse into the rural life in Laos, you stay in simple yet charming accommodations which are safe with mosquito nets and very clean. The food and service is top notch, with delicious options that are not overpriced. We thoroughly enjoyed the quiet getaway, walking around the nearby village, talking a boat to the Kong Lor cave, kayaking in the lagoon and just hanging out playing games at the deck overlooking the river. It was very beautiful and the owners have done a great job on the details, even working hard to talk to guests and clean tables to make sure service is excellent. Highly recommend this place to anyone interested in a peaceful get away.
