Time and again El Sol
Extremely appealing accommodation all in colorful in a magical environment with pure nature. Beautiful detached bungalows with everything you need for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday. Very friendly and courteous staff, fully committed.

Quiet cabin with amazing views
We spent 3 days at Hotel El Sol and it was amazing. We arrived at night, and when my 4year old woke up in the morning she shouted that she had mountains beside her bed. The breakfasts were delicious and very filling. We loved eating our breakfast on our balcony overlooking the mountains. It was unusually hot when we were there and enjoyed the infinity pool. The staff were very friendly and the service was great. Would definitely recommend our cabin to anyone visiting the area.

It was an absolutely amazing place to stay at! Everyone was so kind and helpful! The property really felt like heaven on earth. The views were gorgeous, their oasis was relaxing and amazing. Breakfast was fresh and delicious everyday.

Beautiful location, views and cabins
Such a beautiful place to spend a few relaxing days. The views are amazing, especially from the infinity pool. We loved our 2 room cabin; it even had a hammock inside that we hung up. We could see the view from the hammock.
The food was amazing as well. You can order breakfast or dinner and they bring it right to your cabin. They also messaged us the day before and asked where we were coming from and our ETA and then sent us a fun playlist to enjoy on the drive. They recently installed air conditioners. I really wish they had screens on the doors and windows because we would have loved to leave our doors and windows open to let in the fresh air, but we didn't want any more bug bites. They also offer a laundry service. You are given a large bag to fill and it costs $25 and they pickup and drop off! A huge bonus since we were having trouble getting some of our clothes to dry from the previous day's rainstorm.
Javier and his wife made our stay so enjoyable.

A Magical, Private Paradise in Monteverde, Costa Rica – Absolutely Flawless!
From the moment I began planning my trip, I knew El Sol Monteverde Hotel was special. My initial messages with Javier, Sian, Tanya, and the entire El Sol Team were so informative and inviting. They patiently answered every single question and helped guide my daily adventures before I even arrived.
Upon arrival, the warm welcome continued. And then walking into my private Superior Bungalow took my breath away. Each cottage is completely detached and spaced out from the others, giving you the wonderful feeling of having your own private home away from home. The interior was incredibly decorated and comforting, filled with bright-colored walls and furniture, beautiful bedding, vibrant pillows and sunny towels.
The view was simply unmatched. Both the bedroom and the bathroom/shower look out over the stunning valley. Watching the incredible sunsets from the jacuzzi as day turned into night was a highlight of my stay. And also waking up to the beautiful morning light of the valley.
To top it all off, the homemade breakfasts and dinners were phenomenally delicious. One night, Javier prepared a salmon dinner using his own special recipe, which I savored every single bite. And, both breakfast and dinner are delivered to your room!
Thank you to Javier and the entire El Sol Team for an unforgettable and magical experience.
