We enjoyed our stay. It was better than a hotel because you are connected to the sounds of nature and you don’t hear your neighbors. The property was very clean and provided daily housekeeping services. The A/C and bed made our room comfortable. As a pleasant surprise, our room came with a free small bag of coffee beans from the farm across the way, as a souvenir. We loved staying here.

The jacuzzi amazing! The view of the volcano when it’s not so cloudy es great! For a couple a must! Has a full kitchen also nice!

BAUMA was great! Such a beautiful property. We booked based on pictures and reviews, not knowing anything about La Fortuna. We had a hot tub in the backyard and the room was big enough for my husband and I.
Diana, the VIP team was kind enough to decorate for my birthday and gifted us with a bottle of wine and coffee beans!
The entrance to the loft was tricky as it’s hidden, but the lush landscape is beautiful. We loved the shower, how it felt like you were outside. It was quiet and we felt safe. Definitely would stay here again.

Great location. Wonderful for families and well proportioned, modern spaces with everything you need within a few miles. We stayed as a family of five, two adults and three kids, and were very comfortable! The landscaping, the pool and outdoor indoor living was fantastic! The only drawbacks would be the pool is not heated and there is no gym but if that’s not important to you, this is the place to stay. We will certainly be back! The concierge was very helpful, always available and accommodating - this is truly worth the value if you’re staying in La Fortuna!

Our stay at Bauma was absolutely incredible. This was already our third visit, and honestly, the place continues to surprise us every single time.
The villa is spacious, modern, and fully equipped with everything needed for a perfect stay. Its contemporary architecture beautifully contrasts with the breathtaking views of Arenal Volcano, creating a relaxing and unique atmosphere surrounded by nature.
One of our favorite features was the seamless integration of the kitchen, dining area, living room, and private pool. The entire space is thoughtfully designed to enjoy quality time, relax, and make the most out of your vacation while still feeling completely private.
The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable, including one with a desk setup that is perfect for remote work without sacrificing comfort or the amazing scenery. The bathrooms are truly spectacular — spacious, beautifully designed, and they add an extra touch of luxury to the entire experience. Another standout feature is the private parking and the villa’s capacity for up to 6 people, making it ideal for families or groups of friends.
Bauma continues to exceed our expectations, even after visiting multiple times. If you have the opportunity to stay somewhere centrally located, beautiful, modern, and with incredible amenities — whether in a villa or a loft — don’t think twice. This is the place to book, and you definitely won’t regret it.
