Great hostel in Prizren

This is a great hostel, with a warm welcome and very good, clean, modern, efficient facilities. Staff were really friendly and helpful, and other guests very chilled.
Ura Hostel is definitely the place to stay in Prizren, which is a really vibrant city, especially during the weeks of DokuFest.

Fantastic Hostel in Central Prizren

I had an extended stay at Ura Hostel in May-June 2023; this was my second visit after another extended stay in spring 2022. The staff and volunteers are conscientious and attentive hosts who are always willing to answer any question and help with any travel challenge. The hostel is clean, efficient, secure, quiet during the night, well-managed and centrally located, steps away from the "Blue [Bridge" = Ura]. I highly recommend Ura Hostel.

Nice, friendly & well-located, but skip the private room

This place seems to be a great hostel, with a lot of social activity even in the winter. I was swayed by the good reviews, and after a few weeks of solo travel, I booked the twin room so that I would still have some privacy but be around other people. Unfortunately, the room was not as advertised. It was mostly clean, but there was lots of hair in the bed, which made me think it hadn't been changed, and trash in the bathroom hadn't been emptied. The TV didn't work, and there was no tea/coffee maker as described on Booking (only in the common area was there tea, a kettle, and coin-operated coffee machine.) The room is also very loud: all of the noise from the street, people coming and going to smoke, and the common room are pretty bad. Temperature was also a problem. It took several hours to warm up, and I ended up needing the duvets from both beds. The staff were friendly though, and let me cancel my second night with no problem. The room was not terrible, and if you really want the social aspect of staying in a hotel, you might be willing to overlook the other stuff, but for me, it wasn't worth the cost. There are several other options in town for the same or lower price, some including breakfast.

Modern, comfortable, centrally located hostel

I had an extended stay at this hostel in the spring. The hostel is centrally located, comfortable, clean, and functional. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and will competently help you with any question. The rooms are large, with climate control and a privacy curtain, electrical outlet, and light for each bunk, and the shower is hot and powerful. Entry to the building is with a key code, and lockers are available for secured storage. The common area is spacious, and you are steps away from cafes, bars, restaurants, shopping, and the path up to the fortress that overlooks the lovely city of Prizren.
