A wonderful place to stay in Moroni

Farida and her family are very friendly and helpful. I stayed at their home / G.H for 4 nights. Location is good, near to a few nice restaurants and close to the center.
I loved the balcony with the ocean views, great for relaxing.
I recommend staying with them.

Serious Safety Hazard – My Sister Was Attacked by the Host’s Dogs

My sister stayed at this property in Moroni, Comoros, and it turned into a nightmare. The host appears to be an animal hoarder, keeping more than ten stray dogs in the yard without proper food, water, or control. These dogs are extremely aggressive and dangerous.
One of the dogs bit my sister, leaving her leg bleeding heavily. The host witnessed the attack yet refused to refund her stay, discouraged her from seeking medical treatment, and wouldn’t allow her to use water to clean the wound properly. When asked if the dogs were vaccinated, the host claimed they all were – but a local resident later warned us this was almost certainly false.
After the incident, we discovered older reviews from other guests who had also been bitten by the host’s dogs. Despite multiple past attacks, the host has made no effort to contain or train these animals. There is no fencing, no safety measures, and no concern for guest welfare.
This is not just poor hospitality – it’s a serious safety hazard. If you value your health and safety, do not book this property under any circumstances.

Awful run-down place, mean & rude hostess, dirty with cockroaches....STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have stayed in thousands of lodges/ accomodations ranging from low to high end in my travels to over 165 countries - so far this one is the WORST!! Reason #1: madam Farida is rude, mean & unwelcoming to non-French speaking tourists. Her attitude is the same a prison guard, or worse. #2 The lodge is run-down, much in need of maintenance. My room has no working ceiling light. Wardrobe has no hangers. Saw at least 1 cockroach crawling on the floor. Tons of mosquitos on the premises. #3 No back-up power generator or even flashlights offered during the half-hour power outage. #3 The owner was reluctant to charge half the room payment, as per Booking policy.

Very nice one-night stay

Farida is a lovely and a very hospitable lady; she made me feel at home! The location is great, close to everything and the ocean view is beautiful. Easy to catch a shared taxi just outside. The room is convenient, great value for the price!

Melhor opção para sua estadia em Moroni

Excelente custo-benefício para sua estadia em Comores. Ótima localização, quarto confortável. Fica na beira-mar com uma linda vista do mar. Wifi ok. Fiquei também no Golden Tulip nesta viagem. Acho que vale mais ficar no Farida Lodge, fica na cidade, ao contrário do outro, e um melhor preço.
O ar-condicionado do meu quarto não gelou de forma tão efetiva. Fora isso tudo ótimo!
