Cosy stay

The Regency Park Hotel is a cosy and comfortable place to stay with a decent accommodation at an affordable price. Located in the heart of Mombasa city where most of the tourist attractions and Mombasa night life are in close proximity. Food and services offered are decent as well while the staff is very welcoming and friendly.

UNPLEASANT STAY

The hotel doesn't have what is posted online.
The AC doesn't work, the fans in room make noise.
And the tv is old generation.
Visitors beware. If you dont check in they will run your credit or visa card and wont refund your money.
Be careful

They promise to refund your money but when they are sure you have traveled back the wont do it.

Hi Alex,
We have noted the contents of your complains since a customer is always right however what transpired is not what you have written.
Kindly note you booked a non refundable booking via booking.com whereby the payment is done before client checks in.We Could not refund your money until we get confirmation from booking.com.
The Hotel manager Requested you to be patient until we get go ahead for your refund from booking.com.
We later received an email from booking.com for your refund.We requested you to provide us with your mobile number so that we can do the transaction but you failed to do so, you went ahead to tarnish the name of the hotel on the sites of booking.com and TripAdvisor.
Kindly note that Hotel did not refuse to refund your money as we are still waiting to receive your mobile number for transaction, otherwise we are very sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Easy Place

Nothing special really. A typical budget hotel. One unique thing though is how friendly and warm staff are. Breakfast is reasonable for the price. Rooms can be noisy especially over the weekend as the facility is right along a busy street. There are however good places to sample around the hotel like Casablanca Club, Camel's Joint restaurant etc. Would recommend it on a budget travel.

Business

Stayed 5 Nights here... Staff are really nice but the place is pretty run down. My bed was not so bad but the paint on the walls was coming off and the room has a lot of dirt in visible corners of the room... The toilet looked like it was just being cleaned for the fun of... Rusty shower etc... It's a last option stay for me in that case

Low class dump. Pictures are deceptive. This property should not be on Expedia. They forced me to pay them although I had already paid through Expedia.
