atmosphere very cool and serene

the food was really nice and tasty,the service was fantastic , the rooms were superb and the charges were very fair, the staff were supportive and very good.The place is very clean and tidy the staff very professional when it comes to handling guests.

Was there recently and forgot one of my clothes in the room. When I came back it couldn't be traced. Good customer service requires that when a guest forgets something in the room you pick it up and get in touch with them as soon as possible.

Good value hotel

We were passing through Eldoret to Nairobi and stayed with 2 adults 3 kids for 1 night, paid KSh 5000 B+B. Breakfast was good. Central Eldoret so a little street noise. Clean rooms. Friendly staff. Wifi. All in all good value.

Decent stay in Eldoret

Stayed at Cicada 14 and 15 April 2017 and paid Kshs4,500 per night for two people in a double room with a double bed, private bathroom, towels, TV and mosquito net. Bed was comfortable and shower was good with hot water. Wifi and breakfast are included in the price. Other meals and drinks are available. Some street noise can be heard in the rooms from around dawn. A decent stay for the amount paid.

Basic and do not expect much

Cicada hotel is located centrally in Eldoret. It is affordable, at kshs 3500 per night. The hotel is very basic and the food too. The bar is well stocked and the barman when I was there, an old man, was entertaining. Only downside is that he only had one music CD that played same songs for 2 nights I was there!
