Lovely in every way.

Everything about our stay was wonderful. The hotel room was modern and clean, the location was perfect for restaurants and the beautiful waterfront. Our favorite thing was the ease of checking out their bikes because biking was such a fun and safe way to explore the seawall, park, and even cut across the city, as bike lanes are well-protected. But the thing that really stuck out about the hotel was the staff. They were phenomenal genuinely friendly and warm and had great recommendations whenever we asked for any tips. We felt very welcome and comfortable at the Opus.

Vancouver in July

Opus was great.. will be visiting again. Location was right where we wanted to be to experience Vancouver. My wife loved that shopping was nearby. The hotel was clean., attentive and suited our needs. The room space was enough and the area quiet enough at night to sleep and safe enough to come stumbling home after a late date night from the bars-a-plenty nearby. Opus will always be a favorite consideration when we visit Vancouver again.

Very comfortable hotel in a great location across the street from Canada Line station. Bike ride along waterfront wad a surprise treat.

Overpriced Hotel—and Fishy Accounting

Like another customer who wrote in July of 2026, I too ran into some really questionable (and almost identical) business practices at Opus. I agreed to a rate that I spent quite some time researching, was upsold at the front desk but declined, and then stayed at the hotel, which was adequate though not exceptional, When the final bill arrived it seemed much higher than I remembered, so I went to find my confirmation—but they had never sent it, and they failed to produce it after many requests. They eventually confessed that they had, in fact, never deliver one to me. There was no way to verify the costs. Eventually the manager called me to tell me that while their systems failed to send a confirmation, they definitely couldn’t have made a mistake with the billing. The manager seemed totally unwilling to do anything to resolve the issue except to say they had no record to point to—and therefore I must be wrong.
Watch out with these guys. The hotel is vastly overpriced, anyway, and they also seem to be engaging in some really fishy practices to take more money from their customers.

Great

Awesome room, awesome front desk, and great location with only 2 short blocks to the marina. Train station across the street takes you straight to the airport!! Wow. Would definitely stay here again
