Excellent!

I rented the chalet "Le Bourgeois" a very comfortable, meticulously clean, cozy 2 bedroom cottage located in the heart of "Isle d'Orleans" right across from the St Lawrence River. The cottage comes very well equipped with great laundry facilities, walk in shower, smart television etc. I had all I needed and more.
The adjoining terrace is also quite inviting. On sunny days I enjoyed sipping my morning coffee sitting at the outdoor table under the bright red patio umbrella relaxing and simply enjoying a perfect moment. Also adjacent to the terrace was a clean and safe fire pit with adirondack chairs around it.
The well maintained cottages and surroundings are a credit to the owners who were welcoming and whose pride of ownership is quite evident. I am very happy to have found this place and I left it with every intention to return. I highly recommend it.

Perfect for an Ile d'Orleans Family Getaway!

My husband and I came across the "Vacant" sign at this place while driving around with our 3 year old son searching last minute for a place to stay on our recent side visit to Ile d'Orleans while on vacation in Quebec City. We were able to book the Cottage L'Allemand which is a house directly across the road from the river which included everything we needed for a perfect stay (fully equipped kitchen, washer & dryer, etc.). The cottage had porches with a direct river view on both levels, a nice restaurant and ice cream spot across the street, a lovely fire pit with wood delivered on simple text message request, and steps away from a small swimming pool and playground equipment on the property. There was also a nice grill and patio furniture which we did not get a chance to use. The location was excellent and just a mile or 2 drive to local wineries, farms, etc. We felt so lucky to find this place and highly recommend it for a family stay at Ile d'Orleans! This turned out to be a much better option than the hotel/ inn stay we would typically have chosen.

Châlet bien situé, face au St Laurent, dans St Jean , bien équipé et confortable : rien ne manquait ..Nous l'avons habité en plein hiver avec neige et grand froid et cela avait aussi beaucoup de charme... nous supposons qu'en été , cela doit être superbe
