Such a lovely place with the sweetest staff.
I stayed here back in June with my sister, and the hotel made it the cutest girls' trip. Staff was very accommodating and let us switch rooms upon arrival. The rooms are a bit small, so it's more of a couples' or solo-stay hotel. An important point that made the stay so comfortable was the cleanliness. The furnishings are quite old but upkeep is great. Loved the lounge area; it was so relaxing to return there after a night out for a cup of tea before heading back to our room. Breakfast always had a wide selection and tasted great. Also very nice having a variety of drinks available around the clock. Staff are so sweet and the atmosphere is lovely. Thank you to everyone who made my stay so memorable.

Excellent Hotel
The hotel is in an old building, where everything has been maintained while respecting the context. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. Public transportation to reach the various parts of the city is very convenient. You can easily reach it from the airport by public transport. A short distance away is the Latin Quarter, full of bars and restaurants and very lively in the evening. The staff is very courteous. The only negative note was the air conditioning, which could not be adjusted and was a little too cold.

Charming building, but overall rather average
We spent a few nights at the Manoir Sherbrooke hotel in Montreal and were generally rather moderately satisfied. The building has a certain historical charm, but you can also notice its age clearly. Our room was quite small and offered little space, especially for clothes – storage space was scarce. The equipment seemed dated overall and the bed was unfortunately not particularly comfortable, which has limited the sleeping comfort.
The public areas, such as the staircase, also made an old and poorly maintained impression. Here, renovations could certainly have improved a lot. The breakfast room was also very small, with very small tables, so it quickly became cramped and you felt a bit cramped. Breakfast itself was fine, but nothing special.
One point we found critical was digital security. The Wi-Fi password was extremely simple (“1234567890”), which didn’t leave a good feeling about privacy and security.
Overall, the hotel is acceptable for a short stay, especially if you are looking for a central location. However, those who value comfort, modern equipment and a pleasant sense of space should keep their expectations low or look for alternatives.

Arrived early off Holland America cruise . Frederick at Front desk very Helpful and professional helping w bags and area info. This Hotel over 100 years old decorated Victorian style. No elevators Not a Problem for us Seniors in 80s as Frederic helped w bags and assigned us Deluxe room 2 29.
Breaķfast nice varied Continental w Friendly staff. We enjoyed Coffee after on pretty outside flowered garden in Cool Montreal 75 degrees. We walked 30 minutes downhill to Notre Dame later Old Port cruise and restaurants . Took UBER back. Highly Recommend Manoir Sherbrooke and beautifical Safe Montreal. Richard and Darlene Texas.

I advise it.
Great time 12 days in this establishment. Smiling staff, clean rooms, cute and charming facilities. The only downsides are that housekeeping is done starting at 3 p.m. (apparently the rule in Canada, surprising for Europe), the door that remains open after housekeeping, and the freezing air conditioning in the room which, despite a complaint at the beginning of the stay, could not be adjusted. Despite these points, it did not tarnish our more than pleasant stay in Quebec.
