Surprisingly great accommodation!
Cute spacious cabin with full kitchen, living room and suite, super clean and a nice deck to chill. The bed is soft.
Location close to town and highway, also convenient to drive to ski hill.
There is a nice walking trail with a little bridge and wetlands, great place to take a break from travel.
There are trains nearby, which is cute, and they don’t bother me at night.

Hidden Gem
We enjoyed staying at the Brookside Cabines as they were very clean, beautifully laid out and well-furnished. We only stayed one night but my wife and I enjoyed a great night's sleep. The location was just out of town but certainly on our way to Calgary. Brookside Cabins are a great hidden gem, in a fabulous little town.

Cute & clean, but disappointing location
Super cute inside, roomy with a full kitchenette. I always try to stay in cabins vs hotels. It had everything needed for the type of stay I was looking for.
I must say though, I was highly disappointed when pulling up to check in. I thought I had the location wrong. The cabins themselves are really nice and the property is done up with flowers etc (a creek behind our cabin) but straight out from the front of our cabin is a rather large, ugly and noisy industrial business. Of course the mountains behind it are gorgeous, however it was a huge eyesore and we didn't care for the big trucks and transports constantly pulling in with their loud engines and brakes. This information upon booking would have been appreciated. I wanted to give my mother a place where she could make a morning coffee and sit on the porch to enjoy the sun coming up. This was not appealing in the least.
I did have to ask for sheets to put on the pull out couch bed and a different BBQ as the one provided when we arrived had no propane, grill, cooking tools or cover.
We both personally love trains so the tracks and constant passing trains practically next door didn't bother me one bit but I know many people that would not have been able to handle that. The wifi was quite weak, luckily I'm not there to be on my phone.
Based solely on the cabins, I would stay here again as they were super clean and provided all I needed but for the price per night, I can't justify the location. These mountain weekend trips are my city escape and I'd like to be in the trees more than this accommodation could give.

Very nice stay!
I had a wonderful stay for 2 nights.
Upon arrival, I was given a choice of Cabin #6 and #7, I went inside and looked at both, they are very different in a nice way. Both had 2 bedrooms, a kitchen , a bathroom and living room, plus a little porch with chairs. both very cozy and spot less. However, I had decided to stay in #7.
The cabin has everything I needed, bed was comfy, I had a nice view of Kicking horse mountain from the bedroom window.sofa seemed barely used, bathroom looked just recently renovated.
The location was ideal, just off the highway #1, big green yard with a creek running through the property. there was a train track in the back, but I could hardly notice any noise.
I would defiantly stay again!

Wonderful!
I Love how pretty the area is with the creek behind my my cabin. Inside was so quaint right down to the warm light blue walls in the kitchen and sitting area. The bed was very comfy with nice bedding. It was very clean and I felt so good being here I didn’t want to leave! All the berries on the mountain ash just added to the beauty of the surroundings. The trains? Who cares it was still lovely all around. The only drawback was the warehouses and trucks across the road which was not so pretty. I still would come back and bring all my friends.
