Welcoming B&B in a gorgeous setting

Beautifully situated near the cliffs, the setting couldn’t be better. Our room had a view of the cliffs. There is a private walking trail to the cliffs which we walked to accompanied by Bonnie. Anne greeted us with a warm welcome when we arrived and that set the tone for the 3 days of our stay. Breakfast was excellent with a variety of options. Rooms were comfortable and clean with good water pressure in the shower. Would highly recommend Rockmount House if you are looking for a scenic, quiet place to stay while exploring the Connemara area.

The best B&B so far!

We spent 4 days in Connemara, in Rockmount House managed by Anne and Paddy!
The B&B is beautiful, clean and comfortable. It is located along the beautiful and quiet Sky Road.
The breakfasts are various, all very generous and tasty.
Highly recommended, if we'll be back to Connemara, we'll certainly stay in this B&B again!

Excellent, friendly b&b

Really first class b&b, Ann is so friendly and helpful. The breakfast is superb, rooms are spotless and very comfortable. The position is a few minutes out of Clifden so not walking distance to restaurants etc but the views are worth that sacrifice. Also the private walking trail to the cliffs escorted by the gorgeous welcoming committee aka Bonnie the dog just adds to a wonderful stay! Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend or return.

great address

Though this B&B is a little way out of the centre of Clifden, I would recommend it highly on the condition you have some means of transport. The house is beautifully situated near the cliffs (with its own access) and the views are breathtaking.
The room was spacious and comfortable as well as being spotless.
There is a good choice of breakfast options and my choice was delicious and copious. Paddy and Anne were welcoming and helpful and the dog was tail-waggingly friendly!! An address to keep!

Simply stunning

We've been here a number of times, and this is our place to stay whenever we visit Clifden. Anne and Paddy are superb hosts, and the setting of the house is nothing short of breathtaking. I would highly recommend a visit to Rockmount House to anybody wishing to visit the area.
