A place out of time!

Extraordinary stop during my road trip in Ireland.
Very pretty pub lost at the end of the Dingle Peninsula, lost between mountain and sea, surrounded by fields and sheep.
Very friendly staff, spacious room, excellent breakfast. And I ate the best burger of my entire trip there!
Vast and clean room
To top it all off, we had a great band for the evening of July 8th! A dream evening! Thank you

Excellent food

Went there with a friend on Sunday evening for a meal. It was absolutely delicious. Could not fault it. The Spanish girl so lovely and friendly and such a great worker. Will return.

Big UP

we only stopped for a pre mountain pint, and the awesome staff offered to drive our big old bags over the mountain for us, and dropped them off at where we were staying that night AND THEN we bumped into the bartender on the other side of the mountain who offered to drive US the last hour of the walk, something our very nackered feet appreciated after a good few days of hiking. BIG UP

Pub and guest house

A perfect pub to grab dinner at before entering the guest house! We had the fresh, local Hake for the first time and it didn’t disappoint. The beds were super comfortable, the breakfast was hearty(got the full Irish breakfast), and the customer service was out of this world. Everyone we met there was kind. Talked with the owner/manager before getting back on the Dingle Way, and he was a delight!

Top class food and entertainment

An Bothair is our favourite place to eat on our annual holiday to the Dingle Peninsula. The food service and ambience cannot be beaten. I had a a breast of chicken with risotto, my sister had the burger. My husband had roast of the day which would have fed two people. and my brother in law had mushroom volauvent. Everything was delicious. The icing on the cake was the entertainment by the group Na Francaigh who play traditional music and have long associations with the area. They also call on those present to sing or play which adds to the experience. It’s difficult to make a reservation as the owner prefers to seat on a first come basis. Thankfully we were accommodated us as it would have been disappointing to make the journey to find there wasn’t room.
