" A Battlers Dream "
G'day Fellow Trippers,
I've been meaning to give this place a wrap for several years but our joint in Sydney got torn apart by a Tornado in 2015 and we've only just got back into our home and got the internet up and running. A lot easier reviewing on a PC as opposed to an Iphone.
The bloke who built and owns this hotel started driving a Bemo some 35 years ago and is a personal friend of mine to the point where we call each other brothers.
What Ketut has built up (only happened because his wife Yoman was the driving force in making it a reality) is a credit to them both.
Peeps, this isn't a five star hotel, it's not near the beach and you don't even get breakfast but the rooms are clean and comfortable and very close to Denpasar if that's your destination point. Ketut built it to accommodate mainly university students that come to Denpasar on short study gigs.
What does he charge a night you might ask? Around $25 AUD a night. So if you're a student heading to Bali or just looking for clean, cheap accommodation, you'd be hard up finding better.
Most of the punters staying here ride motorbikes to where they want to go anyway.

You tell my brother that you read a review by Made Wijaya and I'll bet you he will look after you. Get him to take you the local night markets not far from the hotel. You wont get any more traditional Balinese than these markets, it's where the locals shop.
And the view from the 5th floor roof will blow you away, especially the sunrise and sunset.
I did have a photo of the hotel but my phone went off the rails and I lost every photo. Trust me, it's new and clean.
So give him a go, he deserves it.
