Great value for money

Look past the tired entrance and find lovely clean functional rooms, a sparkling pool, a full menu restaurant/bar and a sweet massage room. Central to beach, bars and restaurants this really is a good choice. Staff are sooo lovely and helpful.

The manager is the worst person ever!

We were the only patrons for this hotel coz we stayed on 9th of January (Low season I guess?)
My room has three people and my tour guide requested an extra breakfast for my friend.
When we came back from dinner, the manager scolded my friends for having an extra person and we need to pay 150k.
Now, this is the thing I don't understand, why can't you just tell us nicely that we need to pay extra?
After he scolded my friends, he came to me and asked "Where did you have your dinner?" in a why-didn't-you-have-dinner-here kind of attitude.
When he carried the bed to my room, my friend asked him if she doesn't want the breakfast and the extra bed, does she have to pay 150k? And he said no.
Makes us even more puzzled, why the anger?
This hotel has the worst staff, when we arrived, all the staffs are playing their phones.The kitchen staffs sitting on the floor and playing their phones.
The manager greeted me "Happy staying" while looking at his phone.
A stupid weed is growing from the side and blocking the way to the stair and nobody bothered to remove it.
The next morning, the manager served us breakfast in the most reluctant face ever.
Maybe it kills him to smile.
The bed is spacious, the aircon is cold, the toilet is nice, the wardrobe has a safe.
The only thing bad is the smell of the tap water, smells like rust!
If you are immune to horrible service, this is the hotel to stay.

Superb breakfast (Best breakfast during my stay)
Bad side:
Horrible staffs
Rusty water smell
I promised that I would give this homestay a one star for that attitude, now here you go!

Extremely accommodating considering we went supposed to be staying there!

We were supposed to stay down the road but they were over booked so we arrived here unannounced. The hotel put us up no probs and gave us a welcome drink and fresh towels. Room was comfortable and with reasonable mini bar bathroom was pretty with freebies and a lovely hot shower. Would return

Friendly and clean

We went to Chonos for the last 4 nights of our Indonesiatrip. The staff is very friendly and you feel very welcome here. The rooms are not big but the cleanest we had in Indonesia. The breakfast is really fantastic. So... need some rest, a friendly place to stay and good food... go there!!

Again Chonoshotel the best in Lovina, Bali

On the bustling main street of Lovina is the Balinese Chonos Hotel. This is my favorite hotel in Lovina with the many bars and restaurants just round the corner and the beach only a 4 minute walk away. Arie and Jeanne, the Dutch management team, have a good relationship with their staff and this shows with the atmosphere here.
The peaceful garden swimming pool has a towel service for your convenience and you can also have your breakfast or lunch served by the pool.
It is quiet in the bed rooms with only the hum of the air conditioning units. With the prices, good kitchen and comfortable rooms, makes the Balinese Chonos Hotel the best place to stay in Lovina.
