The hotel is nice, the facilities are nice and good, the service is also good, the teeth are close and the food is a lot of choice. Delicious breakfast.

Warm friendly staff. Convenient location. Facilities need a refresh.

First time staying at this hotel. Its biggest advantage is the excellent location. It's within walking distance of Batam City Square, Grand Batam Mall, A2 Foodcourt, and plenty of local eateries, snack shops, and massage shops, making it very convenient for dining and shopping.
The staff were warm and welcoming throughout my stay. A special mention goes to the breakfast team, who were friendly, attentive, and always greeted guests with a smile.
That said, the hotel is showing its age. One of the two lifts was under maintenance, resulting in long waiting times, especially during the breakfast rush. The room also doesn't come with a fridge, which may be inconvenient for some guests. In addition, the labels on the air-conditioning remote have faded over time, making it difficult to figure out the functions of the buttons.
The breakfast offers a good variety of choices, but I found the overall quality to be average. Some dishes were also slow to be refilled during peak hours. On a positive note, the banana cake was excellent and easily my favourite item on the breakfast spread.
Overall, this is a budget friendly hotel if you value a convenient location and friendly service. While the facilities could benefit from some upgrades, it still offers a comfortable stay for travellers visiting Batam.

Family trip to Batam

Stayed in 2 Premier rooms, thought pay more get better rooms. Both rooms no in house phone we were like oh how to call laundry, reception, order room service. Told the team on 1st day arrival till the end departure, nothing done, all I heard over this times is sorry we will look into it. Breakfast can get over crowded if u go early, if we go later most pots are empty or had last few drops left. Had to tell the breakfast team to top it up, for topping up can wait until uncle Sam come home,ask them what happen about the topping up, reply oh it's being cooked now.

overall I am happy and will coming back stay at Gideon in Aston batam

Location Best near the Grand Batam mall and BCS mall , a lot of coffee shop and food court walking distance , Room and bath room very clean , breakfast very generous.
Staff very friendly and help full. no discotheque no noisy , sleep very conformable.

Found cockraches

Stayed in the hotel for 2 nights and found 2 cockroaches each night.
Hotel is old, and cupboards were old too
