Pleasant stay

Visited this place Nov 22.. we had a comfortable stay here, nice big rooms , private beach adjacent, courteous staffs, tasty buffet breakfast with lots of variety, kids friendly .. we kinda liked the vibes as a whole. Has a very good view with clean beach. Good for destination wedding as well I suppose.

Awesome Resort !!! Peaceful and best for couple

I stayed in last week of Jan, very nice cloudy weather and have private beach, absolutely great wind coming from beach towards entire resort and have all the facilities. I was happy to have the good clean rooms, a entire food cout with cocktails shop as well as all the sports zone were there.

Excellent Location but very pathetic maintenance

Le Palms Varca is located in a beautiful place (40 Mins Drive from Airport). The area is vast with lush green, big trees and calm environment. Has a private beach which is clean and not at all crowded. Staff in the Resort are very courteous. You also have facilities for water sports and shacks near by. Ideal for spending your holiday in peace and nature. But the rooms and amenities with in the resort are very poorly maintained. Most of the rooms (apart from 1__ and 5__ series) all the other rooms are very poorly maintained. The furniture and fixtures in 200 series are all old and shaky, beds are hard and you can feel the sprints out from foams. The lights and TV are not working. None of the rooms have wi-fi connectivity. The 100 series rooms (located upstairs the reception area are some what good and 500 series located near pool are better). The rest of the rooms need big time maintenance and replacement of furniture and fixtures. This is definitely not a 3 Start Property in any way. The restaurant has very minimal options.
If you want to go around the city then definitely this is not the place to be as it has zero public transport connectivity and you have to rely on taxis which are highly expensive minimum amount starting from Rs. 600/-. Also the 2 wheeler rentals are very high. So if you happen to visit this resort you have to spend huge money to see around Goa or you are locked down in your resort.
Please think twice or may be thrice before booking this resort!!!!

Super location with bad maintenance and food

Location - complete inaccessible to any other place in Goa , need to have a private vehicle, else you are handicapped and will be expensive to hire temporary cabs (700 to MADGOAN station). Got a private pristine calm beach with beautiful location.
Ambiance - this is a not so well maintained resort with medium sized average pool. Villas are not upto the standards of calling itself a 3 star resort. Don't expect a lot about ambiance. Enjoy the location and beach. This is perfect for couples who want isolation and wants to sway in their own world
Food - when it comes to food, this place sucks. There will be 10 items overall and repeat the same menu. Not aesthetically pleasing food and liquor 10 times more costlier than outside. You can get wine from outside and have it in the resort. There are shops near by , 2.5 km from resort.
Overall :
Not a god place to stay if you want to experience what Goa is meant for.
If looking to have a peaceful, calm, away from day to day hassles, lazy and laid back vacation.... Go for it..!!

Great location but in shabby state

Its a very huge property located right on the varca beach. The hotel has surely passed its glory days and now is just a lacklustre establishment more like a lodge than a hotel. some glimpse of good hospitality were seen in the food served. However one can only choose this if one wants a good view at a low budget in south goa.
