Great stay
Our stay was very wonderful & Enjoyed very well , Rooms were very neat & clean , want to thanks whole House keeping & Front office staff very helpful & polite,

Terrible, Never Book
Providing a detailed review for this property I got misled in booking due to Aamod brand. We have stayed at Aamod, Bhimtal in 2018 which was awesum and thought similarly about this property. But this property was a complete disaster, Over priced, Stinking Smelly. And to think its rated as 4 star property on most travel sites. I had stayed alongwith family in June 2025 in Deluxe rooms.
1. Its a franchise Aamod property. Its a boutique property. Its name is "Dolls Inn", got renamed Aamod Feather Touch due to some tie up.
2. Location is far away than Nainital Mall Road, its near Rajbhawan on high area. One has to walk for 20 mins before reaching down to Main mall road. Residents have to take taxi for travelling from Mall Road to hotel since its on high altitude. Taxi cost is Rs 300 per trip.
3. Except only 4 rooms on Ground floor, All rooms are in Basement area. Rooms have excessive stinking smell which is completely unbeareable. Smell is either due to no ventilation or waterlogging. There is no window with scenic view as rooms are in basement area. Being in Nainital without any scenic view from windows is a complete miss here in this property.
4. No Mineral waterbottles provided (only RO water is provided), No fridge, Not even toileteries. Room Cleaning does not happen. No press, No Hairdryer, Not even a laundry bag. Small room size for a designated 4 star property. No AC in rooms. In small sized bathrooms, Bath place is not seperated from toilet area. No Ironing board, No Lift for climbing down 3 levels stairs to the rooms. No Dental kit. No Electric Heater, No Concierge. No Housekeeping, Parking Area at hotel is limited for max 5..6 cars.
5. Food quality is so pathetic, they do not even provide basic boiled eggs in breakfast. Just 4 poorly prepared breakfast items, which one can fall sick after eating. Completely avoidable breakfast inspite of availing breakfast inclusive room pricing. No immediate nearby shop if anyone needs basic milk or biscuit or egg, min 10 mins walk is needed.
6. Since rooms are in basement, frequent hotel wifi switch off and on. Router coverage issues are there. Mobile network which is already a problem in Nainital, does not function in rooms. So no mobile network in rooms.
Net Net completely avoid this disaster accomodation unless you want to spoil your vacation. One of the worst hotel, we booked in our lifetime. Completely avoidable. Never ever book this hotel.

Horrible Experience

I visited Aamod Paradise Hotel, Nainital hoping for a refreshing break from my hectic schedule and arrived at the hotel around 11:00 AM.
To my surprise, the receptionist bluntly told us, “You have arrived early”, and refused our request for an early check-in at around 11:10 AM—without even checking the room availability or offering any assistance.
What was even more disappointing was the complete lack of basic hospitality. We sat at the reception area for quite some time, and not a single staff member offered a glass of water, a welcome drink, or even a simple greeting. We were traveling with two kids, and still, there was no acknowledgment or care shown. It felt like no one was bothered about our presence.
Extremely poor experience. This is not what I expected from a hotel in such a beautiful destination. A little courtesy and hospitality go a long way—unfortunately, this place lacked both.

Special services
All our stay was amazing! The sky villa is beautiful and all the staff are really professional and they assist us with everything during our stay!
The room service team was the best, really responsive, providing us daily all the special request to our babies and for us once we are vegetarian.
One special thanks to Nitender from housekeeping, he take care of all our cleanings, special request and daily guarantee all our stay was perfect!

Extremely disappointing experience. Very poor service and zero consideration for guest safety
We had booked a 2-night stay at Aamod Feather Touch, Nainital (1st–2nd May 2025). Upon arrival, we found out there was a curfew and unrest in the area - something we were not informed about .
The staff called us around 1 PM to confirm if we were on our way to the hotel, but they failed to mention anything about the ongoing situation or unrest in the area.
As three female travelers, we felt unsafe and decided to leave shortly after checking in.
Despite explaining the situation and requesting a refund just 15 minutes after arrival, the staff was unhelpful and unsympathetic. They refused to cooperate and insisted we stay, claiming the hotel was “safe.” We ended up paying for two nights without actually staying. Very poor service and zero consideration for guest safety or genuine concerns. Not recommended
