Good food, nice people, nice stay!

The best stay in chennai, with an affordable rate. Delicious food, We loved their ala carte food so much, everything was awesome!
Services rendered by Ms Janani was superb she was so helpful & attentive at all the time, and few more of the F&B team ( i couldn’t remember their name) were so kind to help me as i was suffering from backpain
They even made some indian remedy
( perangayam mixed in water) for me to get rid of the gassy pain.
Thankyou so much guys!
We enjoyed the stay so much, will always come back again

Room is not really. Old bedsheet, pillow cover, not a good feeling staying at hotel.
It surely not a 4 star hotel. Someone must correct their stars :)

very bad stay.. avoid this hotel

We had taken 3 rooms on 1st jan 2025 night... we reached the hotel at around 2am in the night and the man in the reception told us that the breakfast would start at 7.30am sharp... since we had to catch a flight next morning, we requested for packed breakfast, to which he refused...
But to our suprise, the breakfast was not ready at 7.30am also... the reception man very rudely told us that breakfast would be ready by 8.00am....since we had to leave, we had to skip our breakfast...
The reception man was very rude...
The rooms had dirty towels... untidy bed.. the pillows were the filthiest i had ever felt !!
Paying 4000 per room ( total 12000 rs for 3rooms ), i thought we have been looted by this hotel

Unpleasant experience

First time in S hotel in Chennai with my girlfriend. Our stay was indeed a memorable one just because of one bad experience. We stayed for 4days and 3 nights. When we came to check in on 14 dec 24, the room was not ready. A lady told me wait. After a considerable time, I approached the staff to expedite my check in since I was running a fever. I was given room with twin beds but actually I booked a queen size bed. I was too sick and I just needed to rest due to my fever. Room was small and crammed. All were fine except the Tv was not working. We called in the technician at least 3 times to get our tv working. 2 different technician came and gave us two different conflicting instructions to turn on the TV. After which we managed to turn on the TV on our own. The first two days were fine , they made up our room as requested for a comfy stay. Now the finale was the last night, we wanted to try the hotel restaurant for dinner, since we have not tried the food there. After our shopping, we went to have our dinner there at 830pm. we were the only ones in the restaurant. We ordered coffee, pomegranate juice, salad and guotiao goreng. There were 2 more male guests entered the restaurant to place their orders. Salad came in 15 mins. Cofee was served 35 mins later. Pomegranate juice in 35 mins. But our guotiao goreng was not served. We saw them serving the other table which further irritated us. We were famished but we just try to called off the guotiao since its taking forever to come. We were literally trying to check what actually went wrong in our order. The Manager, Prasad, who happened to be there did not respond or react to our queries. He was expressionless that further triggered our anger. He simply told his staff to settle us bluntly. We felt so offended. We settled the bill and wanted to head back to our room. The overall incharge, Mr Gunasekar, kept apologizing to us for their mistake and even volunteer to send the food to the room which we declined. We were totally taken back Prasad's reply and unresponsiveness. We felt so humiliated. We did not get any respect as the hotel guest. Most of the staff apologized even though it was not their fault. But Prasad never apologize for his mistake. He is also part of the management right? And he simply walked away. This incident has tarnished the image of the hotel. Other staff, kumaran , Viknesh, Usha were trying to apologize and do a service recovery the next day when we checked out. But this incident has caused us to lose our appetite and sleep on that night. We may never want to come back to this hotel....

Excellent Hotel @ T Nagar Chennai

Room service Excellent...Food was delicious / Bar was crowd and Nice atmosphere, Very convenient for shopping and very close to my office / Hotel located centre point of Chennai / Staff are very genuine, i forgot my mobile charger, Hotel staff helped me for courier, Thanks for help and I will visit again with family.
