Stay in galaxy inn with family

Breakfast in this hotel was very delicious, as if I was having meduwada at home, their in room king bed is very cozy, you get a good night sleep, over all I was happy on my stay, value for money.

Be aware

I would strongly advise travelers to exercise caution before booking this hotel.
During my stay, on the 04th june 2026, I left my room at around 10:00 AM for office work after handing over the room key to the housekeeping staff for cleaning. When I returned at approximately 6:00 PM, I discovered that the lock combination on my luggage had been changed, leaving me unable to access my bag.
I immediately reported the issue to the Front Office Manager, expecting a thorough investigation. Unfortunately, instead of looking into the matter objectively, the manager appeared to defend the staff without properly verifying the facts or addressing my concerns.
As a guest, I found this experience highly disappointing and unsettling, particularly when it comes to the security of personal belongings. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this hotel to travelers visiting Kolhapur until stronger guest security measures and better complaint-handling procedures are in place.

in budget best hotel

for the business purpose, I and my partner went Kolhapur and stayed here for 3 nights. It was a very good hotel with helpful staff. room was very spacious and clean. all the basic needs were available. the hotel manager was very nice and helpful.

Our stay in Galaxy

We reached the hotel at 7.45 am and our rooms were not ready.However Receptionist gave us alternate room to fresh up as we were to move out immediately. When we returned by evening our rooms ewere ready and everything went smooth.The rooms are good neat and clean.Staff is cooperative.We enjoyed our stay over there.

One of the Best Affordable & Decent Hotel in Kolhapur

Don’t go by the name, it’s definitely not a lodge. Me and my Family were visiting Kolhapur for religious trip, after searching a lot of hotel we finalised this hotel.
Galaxy Lodge a.ka. Galaxy Inn is one the best Decent, Affordable, Clean and Well-Maintained Hotel in Kolhapur.

Location: 5 / 5 - Walking distance from Kolhapur Bus Stand and Railway Station
Value for Money: 5 / 5 - Found a good deal on MakeMyTrip
Service: 3.5 / 5
Ambience & Cleanliness: 4.5 / 5
Food: 4 / 5 - Hotel don’t have an attached restaurant, they’ll place an order on your behalf to some other restaurant.
Room Facilities: King sized Bed, TV, AC (if opted for AC Room), 2 Chair & Table, Wardrobe, free WIFI and Hot Water (till 12 PM)
Overall: Good place to stay and would recommend other as well.
