This is called Nature's lap

This is a place located in thick woods and you will be in nature's lap. We went in the month of July 2021 and I loved this place for not being commercial at all. Its a must go place for Monsoon lovers. It is raining continuously and the sound of rain in the woods gives you a lot of relief. The staff here is also very polite and the food is very homely and nice. Since we went after the second wave.. may be there is no one staying there for a long time.. rooms were not so neat and monsoons made it very damp. Bathrooms could have been maintained better. Not a place for the folks who like urban culture. Its purely for those who wants to explore and relish remote nature

Awesome

We were 20 strong Team - of all age group ( 15 yrs - 77 yrs ) who spent most awesome time at Bidaara, last week.
Location superb - with scenic beauty and greenery all around.
Hospitality at its best - from bed coffee/tea, well spread breakfast with native dishes like ‘kotte idly’ , splendid lunch and terrific dinner - 8-10 varieties for each meal - all for Rs.1250/- per day per person, is something unimaginable.
The comfort of the cottages, hygiene, sanitised rooms, furniture, mattresses gives great relief during the corona times. Very comfortable cottages which can easily accommodate 7-8 families including dormitory for young visitors.
Bidaara has wonderful facilities like swimming pool, walking stretches, indoor games and most exciting the ‘rain dance facility’. We also enjoyed specially arranged yakshagana programme - Bhasmasura ( at extra cost ) and has camp fire facility. Bidaara is a wonderful prescription for heavenly retreat.
We took the opportunity of visiting Apsarkonda beach / sunset, climbed the Yana, had great fun at Ramangindi beach. Making Bidaara as the base, many nearby tourist places like Kasargodu echo beach, Idagunji, Murudeshwara, Haldipur beach, unchalli falls, Mirjan fort can be visited.
We had the great fortune of having the owners of Bidaara - Mr Sripad Shastry and Smt Poornamba who ensured that our 3 days tour was most memorable and unforgettable !

Bidaara located in wonderful woods of Western Ghats in a peaceful and serene atmosphere. Mr.Sripad (owner of property) and Roshan (caretaker/Manager) is very friendly and taken at most interest in explaining the site seeing places around. we family of 4 visited during May 2018 for 3 days and enjoyed every bit of our stay.
Veg food served is delicious.Our early morning walk in secluded roads, is an awesome experience.we thoroughly enjoyed playing table tennis , shettle and music in evening. we visited Murudeshwar temple and beach, Kumta and Ramangindi beaches.overall an amazing and memorable trip of uttara kanada.

Stay at Bidaara Home stay

An ideal location to stay in groups, if they desire to be cut off from the city stress and chaos. Serene, peaceful,calmness surrounds the home stay. Great efforts by the Promoter Mr. Sripada Shastry and the care taker Mr. Roshan. Our group of 8 members stayed at "Dodd-maney". Facilities in the rooms can be improvised further to make the stay more comfortable. Food served was hot, tasty and homely. Value for money location..............................

Excellent Experience

We were in Bidaara Home Stay in December 2017 - we had an excellent stay at Bidaara - few of my family members had apprehension about the place before reaching there - once we stayed for a day - they all said Awesome - We had excellent hospitality, very good food of desi style - with a beautiful view of nature in the midst of Western Ghats
