Awesome
We rented Apartment #5 from July 3rd to August 1st 2025. The small but quint little apartment was right in front of the plunge pool and pic-nic table. We had a lovely small kitchen and a bboq outside. This was our first time in Utila visiting our daughter who was there doing her scuba certification. It was by bar one of our favorite holidays. The apartement was not big but big enough, the walls are paper thin but that didnt bother us in the least bit. Loved the location and the owner was super kind. Anything we had issues with was dealt with in a prompt matter. Luis was respectful and the room lady was also friendly and amazing. I would recommend this place in a heart beat for non fancy travellers who are looking for a nice place to crash along with night time BBQ'S etc... We are planning on returning to Utila again and would love to rent here again. Thank you for an awesome stay. Johanne and Louis

Misrepresented Bookings pictures
The website pictures are not a true representation of this place. The room we were given, they had classified as a studio. This was the smallest studio ever. They converted this hostel into a supposed apartments. This room barely fit a regular size bed and some walking space. The bed was placed next to the front door and the wall. The room was very narrow. The outside area is not what was portrayed in the pictures on Bookings. There was very little warm water. The so called pool is no more than a plunge pool. Some of the pictures on the website were of a house at the back end of the property, that faced the lagoon. If they had advertised honestly we would never have booked with them. We left after one night. Very disappointing.

BAD STAY
While the room is listed as a studio, that would make it spacious. Full size bed up against 2 walls and requires 1 person to climb over the other to get out of bed. Hot water non existent. If you have claustrophobia stay away!!
