Perfect for relaxing!
The service at the Othmar hostel was first class and very warm from the first minute. You can tell that hospitality is very important here. Our room was spacious, quiet and the bed incredibly comfortable. We rarely slept so well!
The beer spa was a real highlight. Fun and relaxation at the same time. Mega!
Breakfast with the selection of fresh, regional produce met our taste. Just like the design of the premises.
Ootmarsum is a charming place worth exploring.
We would definitely come back!

It was in one word FANTASTIC!
Everything checks out. Check-in - friendly received. Room - very nice, clean and spacious. Breakfast - we lacked nothing. It is nice not to have a buffet but that everything at the table is taken care of with delicious local products. Nice terrace, good food. The parking lot was covered there is really thought of everything.

Truly a unique experience!
It is a unique location. Each room has its own style. The brewery is special, especially with everything around it! There's also a lot to see. There are a few small museums at what is included in the tour.
The open-air museum sits next to the whole which is a nice addition.
The guesthouse is really fantastic. Adds value to the whole. They work well together. The food is good and the service is good.
All in all highly recommended. You can easily entertain for 1.5 days without actually leaving the premises. There is also plenty to do in the town itself.

Beautiful hotel and surroundings in very friendly atmosphere!
Together with my brother I stayed a weekend at this beautiful place! Upon arrival we were already very warmly welcomed by the lady at the reception. We slept in the Triple Room. All rooms have the names of a beer. The room was nice and spacious overlooking the garden behind the hotel. Shower and toilet were very neat and clean and also spacious. The air conditioning worked very well. We had coffee and tea facilities and we could use the minibar with local brewed beers among other things. The minibar was very reasonably priced. The grounds are very nicely decorated. There was a commandery until 1800. In the atmosphere of these buildings, the current buildings have been erected. Breakfast was in the tasting cellar where we were helped very kindly both mornings and still got tips for the region. Breakfast consisted of an etagère with all kinds of goodies and we could choose from coffee or tea. The hostess was very attentive and supplemented where necessary with extra jugs of tea or coffee. On the day of departure we did another walk to a viewpoint nearby. The lady of breakfast had worked out this route with local tips. In the afternoon we participated in the tour with tasting of the brewery. That was also a great success with good explanations and nice beers to taste. The hotel and everything around it excelled in friendliness and hospitality! We really had a great weekend!! I would recommend it to anyone!

a very special and pleasant experience
We enjoyed every minute in this small but very high quality hotel. Friendly staff, royal breakfast, free parking, great location - a short walk to the center of a beautiful town of Ootmarsum.
