Exceptional staff who went above and beyond ⭐
We stayed here for two nights during our family trip to Amsterdam, and I honestly can't recommend this hotel highly enough.
The hotel itself was excellent. Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet, the breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice, and the location was ideal. The tram stop is just a short walk away, making it so easy to explore the city.
What really made our stay exceptional, though, was the staff.
Every member of the team we encountered was friendly, welcoming and genuinely happy to help, but two people in particular deserve special recognition: Maaike and Taimoor.
Unfortunately, our journey home became incredibly stressful when our Eurostar train was cancelled at very short notice. Travelling with my two teenagers, we suddenly found ourselves trying to work out how to get back to the UK. Maaike and Taimoor were absolutely wonderful. They showed such kindness, patience and genuine compassion at a time when I really needed it. They went above and beyond to help us, offering practical assistance, reassurance and simply making us feel supported during a very difficult situation.
It's easy to provide good service when everything is going smoothly, but it's during stressful moments that exceptional hospitality really shines through. Maaike and Taimoor are a real credit to the hotel, and their kindness is something my children and I won't forget.
Thank you to the whole team for making our stay such a positive experience despite our travel difficulties. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Amsterdam and would happily stay here again. Highly recommended!

HOTEL ON WORKS - TERRIBLE SERVICE
COMPLETE DISAPPOINTMENT !!
The hotel was on construction works when arrived, not advised to travel agents, but the rate was charged as normal. Hard work noises from 08:00 am.
Elevator dismantled, stairs ridiculously stretch, some 1 mt wide, two people cannot cross, steps taller than deep, uncomfortable and very dangerous.
Room not cleaned in 3 days !!
Room delivered with broken parts, fridge not cooling, totally unacceptable.
But the worse is, after telling about the room to, not one, but two, receptionists, nothing done.
PROBABLY THE WORST HOTEL IN AMSTERDAM THESE DAYS.
I cannot imagine a worse service in a major European city, for more than 400 € for 3 nights, only BB.

Great hotel in a central location in Amsterdam
Nice hotel in the pipe in a quiet location and within walking distance of, among others, the Albert Cuyp Market and the metro stop where line 4 takes you to the center in 15 minutes. Very friendly and helpful staff (fortunately also Dutch-speaking) and upon arrival we even got a free cup of coffee to take with us! Our 3-person room was neat and clean, and equipped with 3 lovely beds + a coffee machine and refrigerator. Parking is a 10-minute walk in the ParkBee garage Pestana. It is advisable to reserve a parking space. Despite the hotel being renovated, we have not experienced any inconvenience and as an extra service, it is possible to get free drinks and nuts from 12:00 to 00:00. Also the breakfast is more than sufficient and fresh. We'll definitely come back when we have to be in Amsterdam!

Quiet location, friendly staff, ok rooms
Nice quiet location with two tram stops close by, one going towards Amsterdam Centraal and the city center. Hotel staff are friendly and kind. We had to stay an extra night and they were able to accommodate us. The rooms are kind of small and dirty, with the heat barely working in our first room and no internal heating in our second room (they did provide a space heater haha). Breakfast is ok. It’s a buffet style, but they could offer more options. Additionally, they were doing construction while we were there, and they did not give us a heads up so it was fun waking up to the sound of construction on our first morning. However, I do like how they think sustainably, you can request when your room gets cleaned so that there isn’t a lot of waste.

Do not even think about it
I had a highly disappointing stay at Hotel Atlantis. There was an ongoing renovation, resulting in continuous, loud drilling and machinery noise throughout the day.
The service and room amenities were unacceptable for the price paid:
There was no proper bed; it was just a thin cushion thrown over a sofa bed.The hairdryer and the TV were broken.
I explicitly requested room cleaning at the front desk, but my room was left completely untouched.
The only good things were the location and the breakfast. However, this place is barely better than a hostel. I definitely do not recommend it.
