Hotel with disgusting carpet

I give it a 1 for the location because it's the only thing worth it about this hotel. They have given it a facelift. They have renovated some areas like the reception and have changed the beds. But the bathroom, the furniture, and ABOVE ALL the carpet on the floor of the hallways and the rooms, NO, and it is disgusting, full of stains.
Breakfast is expensive (€14 per adult and €7 per child) and that's why we didn't get it, so I don't know if it's worth it. Next to the hotel there are different cafeteria options for breakfast.
They have paid parking near the hotel. €21/ day.
It's a shame because the location is fantastic but the hotel needs a very big change.

It looks like someone went to the bathroom on the carpet and they didn't clean it properly

My experience was beyond horrible. I checked in to discover two large stains right next to the bed. One on the right side and one on the foot of the bed. It looks like someone got sick or went to the bathroom on the carpet. They did not clean it properly. The room should not have been rented. I've never been in a room that filthy. They changed rooms but then the AC wasn't working properly. I got a new hotel and left. I hope they refund my charge but I doubt they will.

First of all, the staff were all fantastic and the location was centrally located. Unfortunately it was unbearably hot in my room, the hotel advertises having AC but it hadn’t been switched on for the season yet, despite being quite hot out.
Outside was LOUD and I had to sleep with the window open because of the heat in the room. The volume from the street was WILDLY loud, the level of volume that you don’t only hear, but you also feel. I was there on a Thursday night and a Friday night. On Thursday people were yelling and partying right under my window until around 3:00 a.m., on Friday the parties were all night and still going on when I left at 7:00 a.m. it seemed to be mostly stag parties. Overall, it was a pretty miserable stay, but the staff were super nice, which was the only saving grace of the experience.

Dire soundproofing.

The best of the hotel staff attention and location. But in the rest, my experience has not been entirely positive, from the room you could hear everything as if it were inside (and that was on a 5th floor), people who were transiting the street at dawn, cleaning machines, the tram, the wind, that was quite a lot. Soundproofing almost zero.
