Pleasant visit but too far from centre

Just returned from a 3 night stay. Room and facilities were as we expected but disappointed with restaurant evening dinner, not up to usual Hilton hotels.. Reception staff very friendly and helpful. Location was too far from centre, described as 10 minutes but 20 minutes more realistic.

Great place to stay. Highly recommend.

Arrived early on a super hot day family of 5. They let us put our bags in a room so we could relax and go have lunch. Came back and we checked in. We had 2 rooms. Both modern and extremely clean. Added bonus was the fridge with some free cold still water. Loved the decor of the bathroom and the fab light over the bed. Handy seating area in the main lobby with wall and fridges where you could buy snacks and drinks and coffee machine. Fab roof top top swimming pool and bar. Only bad note my son cut his toe on a tile at the pool but they gave us a band aid straight away. We also left items in our rooms and although after several phone calls I thought we wouldn't get the items back my husband popped in a few days later and they had them ready in bags for us. Will defo be back..its very central we got parking and great rooms and service. Only 10 min walk to big market on Saturday morning. Also lovely cookie on arrival!! Thanks to all the staff. Highly recommend.

Good Hotel but not Central

Hotel is nice. They have an underground parking that you can not reserve in advance. Stuff are all friendly. We had a nice room with balcony which was clean the only things missing in the bathroom is glasses to wash your tees and a brush for the toilet. Breakfast was good.

Not very well....

The hotel is not quite up to the standards of a Hilton chain. The room was comfortable overall, but the cleanliness could be improved. The rooftop pool is pleasant, a bit minimal, and not very well maintained in the surroundings. The staff is at times inadequate (some do not speak English!!) or extremely unpleasant (to say the least, rude) towards the customer, particularly a young check-in operator. Basic breakfast... at a high price. Overall, a barely sufficient rating.

Our expectations were met!

We recently stayed for three nights here and found the hotel to have all the comforts expected of a Hilton style hotel. We were travelling by train and it was roughly a 10 -15 mins walk from the station. Our room was spacious enough with a seating area. I had requested a bath with a shower over and we were pleased to see that this was granted. The staff were friendly and professional throughout. We didn't use the pool, which isn't very big, but we did go up to use the bar on the rooftop, which has interesting views. there are three supermarkets close by but our tea/coffee supplies were refreshed regularly. There was a refrigerator, but this needed defrosting as it leaked whenever we left the room and the electricity went off. Nevertheless, this was a minor detail and we would definitely stay here again.
