Very nice!

Basic amenities but you don’t need much more, clean and tidy.
Air con and safe included in cost.
1,400 steps (10 mins) to beach, 5 mins to Supermarket, all on flat.
Pool area very nice but no bar area.Didn’t struggle to get a bed.
Absolutely perfect for relaxing and wouldn’t hesitate to return.
Bus stop approx 3 minutes walk and a great way to get around.

A gorgeous, relaxing base....

We had a wonderfully relaxing stay at Lake Studios. It is very peaceful despite being on a main road and the view of the Lake is sublime. The rooms are cleaned meticulously and the pool area feels much roomier than the photo suggests.
It's in easy walking distance to several gorgeous beaches, some lovely restaurants, a couple of supermarkets and the great bus service.
My only complaint would be that there are not enough sunbeds or umbrellas if the hotel is busy and people tended to do that thing of reserving them yet not showing up til the afternoon! We gave this feedback directly to the hotel manager who we found very helpful and the cleaning lady deserves a medal! So nice!
I can definitely recommend staying here, we loved it!

Basic but fine

Probably more 3.5/5 than 3 as nothing was terrible. Very basic, but adequate. The owner seemed a bit unfriendly, but maybe it's just the language barrier. The pool area is less small than some of the photos make it look. Complimentary shower gel was a nice bonus. It's in a good location, not far from lots of nice restaurants, and not a long walk to the beach either.

Great little apartments Sep 2025

Lovely traditional greek accommodation. Stayed in one of the ground floor rooms, it was fairly basic but was clean, bed was very comfy, kitchen area had everything you need for light meals. Free aircon and safety deposit box and greek TV which is a bonus. Towels and sheets chsnged every other day. Louis and his wife were very helpful and always happy. Really nice pool area with plenty of comfy sunbeds and shades. The pool is one of the cleanest ive ever seen and the setting in the grounds is fabulous. Very quiet at nigjt as no bar area which i like. Would stay here again as right in the best part of koukanaries with all the beautiful beaches and a few good tavernas/shops nearby

Lovely basic studios, beautiful lake views

Basic Greek studios, ideal for budget break. Clean with decent air con and safe included. Pool area much nicer than tour op pics, been upgraded with very decent and comfortable beds. Highly recommended for a base with good bus links to other resorts and beautiful Skiathos Town. If you like to walk we found ten beaches within 50 minutes walk, often through beautiful pine forests. UK travel agent.
