Perfect, comfortable base for a holiday

For a 2-star hotel, you really get great value for money. It actually exceeded my expectations! The rooms are basic, but the beds were comfortable, the shower was hot, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. There was something to eat every day, sunbeds were always available, and it is just a lovely stroll to the beach and the main strip. Shops are only a 5-minute walk away. Having read the reviews beforehand, We decided to eat out for either lunch or dinner each day. This isn’t a hotel to spend your entire day and night at, but it is a perfect base for a holiday. Nothing more to ask for!

Worst experience ever

Bad on so many levels.
Arrived to be put in a tiny room which was dark dingy and smelly immediately complained to be told we would have to go to the reception the next day.
The lady on the desk the next morning told us they were full and we could not be moved.We could not stay in that room so considered staying else where.
Then we were told we could change rooms but would have to pay €240 euros more to which we agreed.
We were then moved to a newer block these rooms were substandard and definitely did not warrant the additional charge.
In hindsite we should have contacted our tour operators but we were eager to start our holiday.
We hardly ate or drank at the hotel as the food and drink was awful.
The other guests were predominantly polish who had little respect for other guests.
On our last day we asked if we could keep our room on for a few hours to be told they usually charge for this service, I said we have already paid a substantial amount of money as it it!
The lady then said that we could keep it if I would right a good review and insisted I did it right away.
Such bad management no effort made to keep quests comfortable.
Be interesting to see the reply to this review as everything I’ve stated here is the complete truth.

Relaxing

We stayed at Monika Hotel in June and had a wonderful time. It's important to remember that this is a 2-star hotel, and it offered everything we expected for the price we paid.
The beach is just a short walk away, although we didn't spend much time there as we had rented a car and preferred visiting Canal d'Amour, which is a truly beautiful place.
The owners are a lovely, welcoming couple who made us feel at home. One thing I highly recommend is the beeswax balm sold at reception, handmade by the owner. It worked wonders on my sunburned skin, and I still use it regularly now that I'm back home. It's definitely worth buying.
We also really enjoyed the Friday evening entertainment, which created a lovely, relaxed atmosphere. The hotel's location is excellent, with shops, restaurants, and pubs all within easy walking distance.
Thank you for your warm hospitality and for making our stay so enjoyable. We would happily visit again.

Wonderful holiday

Wonderful place to stay has everything you want, lovely rooms, pool and all inclusive has something for everyone, lovely friendly family hotel apartments , great location near to beach, shops, restaurants, definitely recommend and will come back, had a wonderful holiday , Barbara and Maddie x

It can’t get any better

Wow,10 days at Monika hotel Sidari,management & staff amazing,food really nice ,rooms clean & bedding & towels changed frequently 2mins from beach &10 minute stroll to centre if town, little bit of heaven ,2nd year i have been there can’t wait for number 3 visit
