Accogliente

Due giorni prima dell'arrivo la proprietaria mi ha chiesto se avessi bisogno di un passaggio gratuito dall'aeroporto, o dal porto, alla casa. La camera che avevamo prenotato, io e la mia ragazza, purtroppo non era libera per cui ci ha proposto la dependance (camera, bagno e angolo cottura) allo stesso prezzo. Abbiamo soggiornato per quattro notti e siamo stati molto bene. Non si trova in una zona centrale ma è ben servito dai mezzi e supermercati. La zona è tranquilla e poco distante dal mare (spiaggia di Perivolos 10-15 minuti a piedi, Perissa 20-25 minuti a piedi).
La proprietaria è gentile e disponibile per informazioni e quant altro.

Bad.

Dilapidated apartments with rust everywhere, dirty (various stains of spilled liquids in the fridge, dust, stained sheets and towels). Every two days a summary cleaning was carried out, and because of this a couple of times we had the towels replaced because they were stained. We notified booking several times of the situation to find a reasonable solution and we were refunded almost nothing compared to the total spent.
The sink in one of the rooms was broken and glued roughly, a fridge broken and had rust in several places. Typically, the bathrooms were uncomfortable and small.

Basic, clean rooms in a lovely location and good value for money

Perissa is a nice town for those who want to stay in a quieter place in the area where locals live. It's a short trip to the beach where there are some cute taverns for breakfast. The mattresses in the hotel are new and therefore much more comfortable than the typical mattresses so many small hotels have, and the owner, Mrs. Zoe, is delightful, helpful and knowledgeable about the whole island. If you go there with your own vehicle, i.e., she does not come to the port to pick you up, it's important to call her when you are near Perissa because even though most GPS' will take you right there, there is no sign on the hotel and even the owner of the hotel next door did not know the name of Apollo Rooms. Once you know where it is, it's easy to find again.

A Magical 4 Days in Santorini

Apollo Rooms is located in Perissa and is 10 minutes from the black sand beach Perivolos. It's 5 minutes from a local bus stop and the tourism office. And it's 15 minutes from a local Carrefour (large grocery store).
Zoe, the owner, was gracious and helpful. She will come pick you up at the airport and drive you straight to the hostel. My friend and I stayed in a double room that had all the necessary amenities including: a fridge, closet, hot water, and even a little private patio.
The only downside is that Apollo rooms has no wifi access. I had to connect to wifi while at restaurants or find random internet hotspots while out.
I preferred this location to other heavily populated tourist areas like Fira, the atmosphere there can be overwhelming.
I enjoyed my stay with Apollo Rooms and recommend this spot to anyone traveling to Santorini on a budget. The fee was only € 80 for a 4 night stay. Just be aware that if you're taking the local buses to and from Perissa, the fees may add up.
(P.S. I highly recommend going to eat at a local gyro place called Platis if you're looking for a delicious and cheap meal after a day of sightseeing. It's located right next to the Carrefour.)

Difficile da trovare ma molto carino

Abbiamo dormito da Apollo rooms una sola notte ma ci siamo trovati molto bene.
Non è semplice trovarlo perché dalla strada principale non c'è una precisa indicazione ma dopo alcuni tentativi l'abbiamo trovato.
Lo stile della casa è tipico greco e le camere sono tutte al piano terra. Al primo piano vivono i titolari, veramente disponibili e carini. Ci hanno dato molti consigli su cosa vedere e dove mangiare.
La camera era abbastanza grande e disponeva di finestra e porta finestra con accesso ad un balconcino. Bagno con doccia e finestra. La stanza ha anche un comodo frigorifero.
Consigliato anche per il prezzo veramente competitivo: 40 euro a notte per la doppia!
