Lovely little place close to town and local beach

We stayed at Nicks Rooms as a family for one week and what a pleasant and nice place it was, we had two rooms (8 & 9) overlooking the rear of the property where the sea was visible over the rooftops, the flowers smelt lovely, the hosts made us feel welcome and really looked after us, everyday the room was made up and cleaned. The Air Conditioning made sleeping comfortable and we were able to come and go as we pleased, it is close (10mins walk) to the centre. Thank you so much for the rooms we will stay again x Mr and Mrs Paul and Jodi Green.

Very Nice

Booked a room at Studio Nick just a few hours before my arrival. Had a couple of really nice conversations with Sophie, the proprietor. She was a wonderful host for my very short stay. The room was very clean and looked like it had recently been updated. If I make it back to Plomari, Studio Nick will be where I stay.

Great location, value, comfort with view and super friendly owners

We loved the location right outside of town but only a 10 minute walk to the main port square and many restaurants. A beach is only a 5 minute walk which has umbrellas and sun beds that are free if you buy a drink from the taverna (Joe Bar) there which also has decent food. The ouzo museum/factory is a 10 walk. And the big beach of Agios Isidoros is a 20 minute walk or 5 Euro taxi ride. The room is dated, like from the 60's, but very pleasantly so. The big balcony with a great view of the sea was wafted with the wonderful smell of jasmine plants below. I sat out on the balcony and used my laptop with the fast and reliable wifi gazing out to the sea. There was a nice big mini-fridge and good filter coffee maker. We did not cook but there seemed be enough utinsils to make a meal if you wanted to. There are no supplies so you need to bring your own or plan to buy as the 2 mini-markets nearby. Sophie and John, the owners, live right across the street and are super friendly and helpful. My wife and I enjoyed chatting with them as we left and came back from our morning walk to the charming town of Plomari. A nice, pleasant place to stay in the untouristy town with interesting architect could not be much better. I will only stay here when I come back.
The shower needs a shower curtain around it. I never got the idea of how to take a shower with the shower wand without getting the floor soaked.
There is no lift to second floor which has best view but Sophie and John helped us with very heavy luggage we travel with and we are older couple

Vista mare e ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo

La posizione di questi studios è ottimale: a due passi dal centro di Plomari e dalla spiaggia. La zona è perfetta per visitare l’isola e soprattutto è nel tratto di costa con sabbia e sassolini bianchi che esaltano l’acqua cristallina. La spiaggia si trova subito sotto gli studios a meno di 200 metri ed è attrezzata con lettini e ombrelloni gratuiti e una fresca taverna (Joe Bar).
Abbiamo preso una camera con vista mare ed è stata una scelta giusta. Bellissima la vista sul paese e sul mare con l’isola di Chios e la Turchia.
La camera è dotata di un piccolo angolo cottura con una macchinetta per caffè americano, stoviglie e gli accessori necessari se si vuole cucinare qualcosa.
Nelle vicinanze ci sono comunque ottime taverne, alimentari e panifici.
I proprietari ci hanno accolti con molta ospitalità e competenza nell’indicarci posti da vedere al di fuori dei percorsi turistici standard. Molto attenti al cliente, ci hanno offerto frutta fresca raccolta in zona e soprattutto sono sempre stati cortesi e sorridenti.

Ottima soluzione

Struttura molto carina; basic ma molto funzionale.
Pulizia ed una bellissima vista mare sono i suoi punti di forza a cui si aggiunge la simpatia, gentilezza e disponibilità dei proprietari.
Vicina al centro ed a tutto quello di cui si può avere bisogno in vacanza (supermercato, fornaio, farmacia e taverne).
Sicuramente da consigliare e da provare!
