PAROS DREAM VACATION

This was our first time in Paros and Greece. The high mill hotel and staff was amazing. Rooms were amazingly clean and comfortable. Front desk manager, Alex The mixologist was top notch. Definitely coming back asap!

We loved High Mill Hotel

We loved High Mill hotel .Our room was lovely, clean and with good air conditioning and we had a terrace with beautiful views. The shower was also great. The swimming pool was lovely, and never really busy. The staff were also lovely, very helpful and we really enjoyed the breakfast buffet, lots of choice. The only things we would have liked that weren't provided were tea making facilities in the room and if the hotel had a snack bar where you could purchase food during the day that would be brilliant. Also, I know we were in Greece but an english speaking tv channel would have been good. The walk into town takes about 20 minutes. The first 5 minutes in horrible. There is a pavement but you have to walk along a really busy road but then you can turn off left and walk along a much quieter coastal walkway from where the sunsets are amazing. We did turn left out of the hotel once but that was terrifying as no pavement. We quickly turned back! The nearest beach is not great and there was quite a lot of rubbish around. We got the bus to Golden Beach which is really nice. Overall I would highly recommend a stay at High Mill.

True bluff

I just left the hotel , first of all I would like to understand how the stars are given (indicates 4) in Greece, then I point out the following macro problems: 1) Dilapidated furniture (ikea bedside tables) and even tasteless, cardboard doors that do not close, washbasin in the room with drain (currogate pipe) on sight. 2) reception unable to book a transfer, only words but no concretization, no help (hotel without elevator) to bring luggage to the room , I had to arrange everything by myself 3) Breakfast ... here the 4 stars ended up in the garbage ... I could say “in the worst bar in Caracas”, even in the worst b & b you see so few things. IMPROVE YOURSELVES AND DO NOT STRATEGICALLY USE mr and mrs white (another hotel in Paros). Have a good life

2 nights in Paros

Wonderful hotel - stunning views from our room - wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.
This was a two night stop within a 16 night island hop holiday. - this hotel was a great spot!

Lovely Place , Could be improved

Just completed 7 days here and here is my feedback..let's start with the positives.
1. Staff really friendly and pool is well kept.
2. Plenty of sunbeds normally , the pool doesn't open until 10am so bare that in mind but never normally an issue in getting a bed.
3. 10 mins walk to beach and restaurants . Go to old town rather than main strip it's much nicer.
4. Aircon is good although you only get 1 room key which means it turns off when your not in there but it cools down pretty quick
5. Good WiFi around and fresh pool towels daily on request
All on all a nice quiet place to chill and relax
Some things to improve on to make it even better
1. Decent size TV, the one provided is tiny and very old, yes we are on holiday but it's still good to watch the news etc and this could help
2. Bathroom is really small so for a bigger tall guy I had to duck in shower and the loo is really tight..
3. No advertised poolside service , not sure if available but it was never offered and nobody comes round asking if you want anything..
4. Breakfast options are limited and don't change , given there is a chef there I asked for scrambled eggs or an omelette and was told no. I would say offering people the option to have eggs of your choice would be a big plus and surely doesn't take a lot.
5. A minor thing. The doors in the rooms don't close quietly and it's super echoy so when anyone shuts there doors it echoes massively and is really loud ( crash bang ) Can't be a big fix but would again add to the pleasure
Overall it's a lovely little place , of course if you have difficulty walking don't stay here as the name suggests it's up a steep hill..
