Lovely place, excellent value, good base for exploring the south of the island.

My friend and I booked Elena Rooms at the last minute, our flight having been put back two days at short notice.
On arrival we were given a friendly welcome and shown our room, which was very clean, stocked with essentials to make hot drinks, fridge, quite a good kitchenette with a three-spot hob (and a mini oven, I think? Didn't use it), a TV which we also didn't use, but both there there if you want them, wifi, and had a lovely terrace, bright, but shaded by some well-kept shrubs. It was a little small, compared to the apartment we'd just vacated, but perfectly good for a holiday, and was exactly as described, i.e. 'room' and not 'apartment'.
There is a very good, panoramic view of the hills to the rear, though you would need to sit outside to enjoy it.
The price was excellent. Initially I'd booked this as an 'emergency' measure but we were both very impressed (and my friend tends to say what she thinks!).

Excellent value for money

Beautiful stylish room with fully functional kitchenette. Everything spotlessly clean and the owners couldn't be more friendly. Lovely sunny balcony with gorgeous views. Free Wifi and heating and A/C. Large flatscreen TV. Onsite parking. Just beside the walking path/ small road to Damnoni Beach. It is a bit far from the village without a car but doable (look at the map), the satellite TV is mainly German, the room isn't huge and it needs a second chair instead of two suitcase holders. Otherwise perfect. Excellent value for money.

Perfect place at low price

We got a room for two nights during Christmas holidays. The place is very nice, clean, warm, and recently renovated. Fully equipped kitchen and nice and clean bathroom. The hosts are kind and friendly. Everything was perfect and best value for money ever!

Very well equipped rooms at a bargain price close to Plakias

Although the rooms are small, much care has been put into their layout and facilities. Excellent kitchen equipment, plenty of hooks, juice, water and tea bags provided on arrival. Well situated on the outskirts of Plakias, with easy reach to Damnoni beach and the beautiful coast beyond. Bins were emptied regularly. Elena and her husband live on the top floor and are very helpful and generous. Their son Hlias is very prompt in responding to email enquiries. Their two cats are very friendly and keen on visiting you too at every opportunity. A great place and we will be back again soon!
