Great hospitality & Fabulous location!!
Exciting times at the Albatross Kefalos. Lots of refurb and plans to develop further. The Albatross is situated in a fantastic location next to the sea and harbour with views you can’t help but to stop, sit back, relax and enjoy and feel that Greek tranquility take over. Of course this is fabulous but what makes this place extra special is the warm and friendly hospitality given by Maria and Chrysoula. These ladies are such an asset to the Albatross their hosting and hospitality skills come naturally looking after all the guests with genuine feeling wanting to ensure each persons holiday experience is the best they can give and always with a smile. We stopped for morning coffee and stayed for lunch which was delicious and presented beautifully. They have also introduced a new wine menu with a great varied selection of wines great to accompany any lunch as you sit relaxed enjoying good food excellent hospitality and fabulous view! We are hoping to return kefalos sept/oct and another visit to the Albatross. Many thanks, take care and wishing you a great summer season 2026 xx

Very Highly Recommended......Outstanding.
Beginning of June 2026, I have just returned from a quick Jet2 5 night break here. This was my tenth or eleventh holiday to Kefalos / Kamari Bay but first time staying at The Albatross studios / Apartments. The Albatross is an excellent small block of apartments / studios (14 in all I believe) at the end of the strip of bars and restaurants alongside Kamari bay, over looking Kefalos harbour and about a 15-20 minute transfer time from Kos airport.
Very clean and very well laid out and run by the very friendly and efficient Maria and her husband. Nothing was to much trouble for her, if she can help you or fix your problem she will and if she cannot then she will find someone who can.
The atmosphere is relaxed, friendly and welcoming. and although the studio / apartment block was full, it was absolutely not noisy at all, very quiet and peaceful with fellow holiday makers respecting that. Fellow guests were all plus 40-50 years old and older, no kids running about, and were all very nice and friendly.
Rooms are entered from a central courtyard area with your own room key, all rooms have A/C, a fridge, a sink, a safe, a wall mounted TV, basics like plates, cups , knives and forks etc with a large wall mounted mirror over the dressing table. The bathroom has WC, shower, sink, large and small towels and large mirror. The room was well kept, clean and tidy and cleaned everyday with plenty of wardrobe and drawer space. An internal (glass) sliding double patio door with an external, louvered, outer door leads out to the sun patio or balcony. Both these sets of doors are lockable from the inside so you can have the outer louvered door locked and closed at night but with the glass doors open inside to allow some ventilation to come through.
There was always hot water available, both in the kitchen and the shower, even at peak, early evening shower time.
There is a fantastic pool area / sun terrace with sunbeds and umbrellas and with sunshine all day , a small bar and reception area and a small, separate snack bar . The views are amazing over looking Kamari Bay.
Exiting the studios onto the road, turn right and, one minute walk away, there is a small supermarket for any basic essentials for your room, stroll a little bit further on and there is a small beach with umbrellas and sunbeds as well as a bar. Here you can also wander on to the harbour quay side, well worth a visit.
Turn left out of the studios and immediately there are numerous tavernas, restaurants and bars all over looking the beach and sea front. You dont have to walk far at all for a drink or to eat. Take away Gyros, sit down meals, cold Mythos beers or soft drinks were all to hand.
Overall my stay was excellent and very good value for money. I would give the studios 10 out of 10 and I honestly struggle to find any faults. Im am definitely going to return the Albatross, next time though will be for a 10-14 night break and not 5.

Great Position !
We didn't stay here , just popped in twice to use the pool and grab a drink and it was a very nice place . Literally on the beach which so has lovely panoramic views . I'd consider staying here in future that's for sure

Gorgeous location overlooking the stunning coastline.
Have just enjoyed a very relaxing 10 day holiday at The Albatross Studios at Kefalos in Kos. A perfect location to enjoy really great restaurants and have the bonus of a lovely view of the sea. Maria & her great team run a friendly resort and nothing is too much trouble. Although a bit chilly in the evenings the day time temperatures were just perfect with lovely blue skies. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this resort if you’re looking for the real Greece.

Perfect kefalos don't stay anywhere else
Just returned from the albatross. All I can say is wow. Just fabulous. Lunch food simply amazing..... already booked for next year. Thank you. X
