Amazing place!
We stay here and we like service in Galini Sea View Hotel! The private beach and pool perfect place for relax. There is a lot choose from on breakfast buffet and Italian restaurant. Thank you to all personnel!

WORST HOTEL I HAVE EVER STAYED IN

Review of Galini Sea View
BEFORE YOU READ LOOK AT THE PHOTOS
I am disgusted that first choice was marketing this hotel as a 5 star. I have travelled all over the world and can 100 % say this is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at and thats saying something, the 1 and 2 stars I have stayed in beats this hotel by miles

Got to the room to find the door had been kicked in and the lock was not secure (See pictures)
black mould running along the wall (See pictures)
The shower only half worked and did not drain away (see pictures why)
Day 2
We Asked to be moved due to the above
We were shown another room
Bed was socking wet we were told to come back at 2pm and the room would be ready, so we had to cut short are plans and return early back to the hotel, ones back at the hotel we packed up are suitcases, I went to reception to be told we could not now have that room because of an electrical fault.
I said what room are we having then they took me to a room with no sea view the private pool looking at a brick wall (this is not what I paid £1000 extra for)
I told them i am not happy they said I would have to talk to the manager myself, so I went to reception and had to wait to see the manager.
A short while later I got to talk to the manager who seam confused why I was not given the room 1136, I told him I had been told it has an electrical fault he then spoke with the staff and said no its ok you can have that room
So I went back to my wife who was clearly upset and we went to the 1136 room on entering the room we noticed the fridge was not working it was not plugged in, I then saw a mass of mains wires just taped up together (see pictures very dangerous)
I then saw a cockroach and ants in the room which I dealt with
On wakening up one night in the room we smelt sewerage and we saw 4 more cockroach in the room I then went and bought some spray
On retuning to the room in the evening there was more cockroach’s which I dealt with,
we were then woken up by cockroach’s crawling over us when we were in bed and when i turned on the light the room was covered with cockroach’s they were everywhere
We got dressed and went to reception and complained they said they is nothing they can do but move us back to the 1st room we had, at this point we had no choice but to do that, but Due the lock on the room door still not fixed probably which we had moved back to we had to keep are cloths and items locked in are suitcases.
after moving back to the room my wife had forgotten her glasses so I went back to room 1136 with a member of staff and we open the door and the room was just full of cockroach’s even the member of staff was shocked so much so he took photos of them and said this room is well known for this issue (the cleaners also said the same thing) in the morning everyone had seen the images from the member of staff they did not seam surprised
the room we moved back to was room 1132 On retuning to this room in the evening, we had to walk through a corridor which was pitch black, so we had use are phones lights because the lights were not working (we did report this nothing was done )
I can go on and on about how disgraceful this hotel is from the
food which was always cold, so we had to eat out everyday
The wallpaper that looks like marble pealing everywhere you looked
To all the broken and dangerous steps
The lift where I tripped on the damaged flooring
They also claim the hotel is a 150 meter from the beach this is just not true some rooms might be at a push in a annex not even attached to the main building, the main hotel is up and a hill
it is a far cry from a 5 star and I think it is disgusting that first choice was marketing it as one, I have since been told first choice have dropped this hotel by first choice

Enjoyable vacation!
Everything about this stay felt easy and pleasant. The food were tasty with plenty of choice. The staff greeted us kindly each day. The private beach and pool is perfect!

Perfect beach getaway
Such a lovely spot right by the sea! The staff were warm and always helpful. Our room were clean with comfortable beds. A wonderful holiday from start to finish!

Unfortunately the bad reviews are correct
I normally don’t write reviews this negative, but our experience at Galini Sea View has been extremely disappointing. Before booking, I saw several bad reviews and thought perhaps they were exaggerated. After staying here, I can say that unfortunately they reflect the reality of the hotel very well.
The food is by far one of the worst parts. The buffet is extremely poor in both quality and presentation, and much of the food is simply unappetising. For a hotel sold as a 5-star all-inclusive resort, the standard is honestly shocking.
The room is also very disappointing. The mattress is so old and worn out that it has completely collapsed in the middle. You literally feel as if you are sleeping inside a spoon. It is extremely uncomfortable and absolutely not what anyone should expect from a hotel in this category.
What also bothers me is seeing the hotel’s responses to other negative reviews, often saying that the guest’s experience “does not reflect the reality” or the standards of the hotel. I fully expect a similar response to this review. But after experiencing it personally, I can say very clearly: yes, these reviews do reflect the reality. Dismissing guests who repeatedly report the same problems does not make those problems disappear.
This does not feel remotely like a 5-star hotel. Based on our experience with the food, the room and the overall standard, I honestly would not even give it one star. I wish I had taken the negative reviews more seriously before booking.

If you found the room, mattress, food and general standard so unacceptable, we would have expected you to contact our reception or your travel agency during your stay. You could have requested assistance, a room change, or, if you felt the hotel was entirely unsuitable, asked your travel agency to relocate you. No such request appears to have been made.
