Old British atmosphere
Hotel is nice central located, you can walk to the main square and on the Rock to see the cave and the macaques. Room is big, breakfast is very basic and food option is very limited boiled eggs / ham / cheese / yogurt. Juice and cofee.

Two night stay
I needed a hotel in Gibraltar at short notice and as little cost as possible this on came up so I booked it very close too where I needed to be arranged reception very helpful and friendly. Small lift to 3rd floor hotel still stuck in the 1970 ,room very large a twin mobile air con unit in room works perfectly but a bit nosey at night all plug sockets as uk . Tv in the room bonus with this hotel has a small pool with a pool bar across the road where they serve breakfast
Sandwich and drinks through the day would say 3 star hotel but staff deserve the extra star

Quiet Central Hotel
Quiet, no frills hotel, excellently located off Cathedral Square just yards from Main Street.
It's a sort of tired old world grandeur, so clean but tatty with old fashioned decor.
But who cares. A hotel is for sleeping in and the bed was comfy, the room was quiet and the air con was excellent. So job done.
I've stayed here before and had no hesitation in doing so again.

Very poor and cheap hotel, but good location!
We booked via myGibraltar who didn’t offer an “inside or “outside room, our view was of the building about 3ft from our window. Ok, manageable but disappointing.
No kettle tea/coffee in the room. Quick trip to Morrisons £9 kettle, sorted! Room had a fridge, but the shower water was colder than the fridge.
Bed was comfy but the pillows hard and lumpy, requested more but were the same
TV had English channels so that was a bonus.
Continental breakfast disappointing. Packet ham, cheese slices, bread, those cheap individual wrapped croissants, boiled eggs, 1 cereal which was cornflakes. I was expecting chorizo, salami, more cheese, fresh fruit etc. really was cheap and poor quality! Fruit juice was fresh as was the milk.
The pool area was ok, lots of sun beds and pool was clean.
The hotel decor was tired and dated. 1950 called and asked for the wood panelling back Smelt foisty and dusty, carpets were about 100 years old. The lift to the other floors stopped and you then had to carry your cases up 2 steps then a further 4 steps! Avoid this hotel if you have any mobility issues.
The staff were all friendly, we had beds made and towels changed daily. On day 2 we got soap and little bottles of shampoo. Hairdryer was provided.
There was a bar but we didn’t use it at all as we ate and drank out on an evening. We won’t stay there again. Weve stayed at all the hotels now and this is the worst, but is in the centre so easier to get to than The Rock or Caletta !

staff where excellent and very friendly rooms a bit dated but clean and tidy breakfast was basic but was fine.the pool area was nice and inclosed great sun trap.
