Quiet, comfortable & tasteful

Alexia & Gregoire are taking their historic family business to a new level.
A modern fitting of a vintage facility that makes the champagne tasting experience both elegant and comfortable. We couldn't have been happier with our stay or the cuvées we sampled. The room was large, incredibly clean with wonderful bedding and a great bathroom. You will love the extensive and freshly made breakfast offerings.
Enjoy easy walks around the picturesque town and Saint Martin church. We can't wait for a return visit with friends.

Delicious experience

This is a really amazing place with wonderful hosts. We had a tasting and Alexia is very knowledgeable. The rosè was my favourite. The rooms are simply beautiful with wonderful breakfast. In the lovely village of Vertus where you feel the real heritage of Champagne. Wonderful family history.

Nice place.

Very nice place, quiet although by the road. The 2 bedrooms are spacious and well equipped. Breakfast served was varied.

Wonderful!

What a surprise. An old building in a champagne house with just 2 very modern comfortable bedrooms. The breakfast was outstanding. We were made so very welcome and one day we sat in the pretty garden and without asking we were served tea and cake. The wine tasting was both informative and interesting. Yes, we did buy some.

A real discovery

Myself and my wife visit Champagne 2 to 3 times each year and whilst we have visited the Cote De Blanc for tastings we have never considered staying in the area as we’ve preferred to stay in either Epernay or Reims. This was a real discovery as not only did we get to taste some excellent champagne but we also stayed on site within the most fantastically converted barn. The accommodation and decor is first rate and certainly better than any of our experiences in Epernay. Our host, Jacqueline was exceptionally friendly and extremely knowledgeable on the subject of champagne. We dined locally in Vertus, where you have a handful of choices. We enjoyed a very good breakfast before departing for London. Well done & thank you Jaqueline!
