A lot of sweet with some bitter
This is actually a 3.5 stars as there’s a lot of sweet but some bitter…
First and above all, the staff is just great. Everything comes with smile, professionalism and goodwill…
The hotel is very clean and well maintained, amenities are good enough.
BUT, there are some cons that really caused as feel like the value for money isn’t worth the price…in fact very little things that caused that feelings.
We stayed at the duplex, 4 adults and paid a decent amount of money for 6 nights of bike vacation. Why on earth charges of extra 11 euros for omelet on breakfast? We already paid so much , so would that make a big difference for the hotel? Breakfast is fine but far from great, so the omelet can be a nice addition. For the pancakes we ordered (included in the package) I should write a different review.
We had our bath soap bottle empty 2 days in a row, towels haven’t changed etc…
Would I recommend the hotel to my friends for future stay? Probably yes but the balance need to be changed.

We are truly sorry that your soap dispenser was empty. This is not something that should happen, and we sincerely apologize for this oversight.
Regarding your comments about the towels not being changed every day, Chalet Mounier is a Green Key certified hotel, a label promoting sustainable tourism. As indicated in the bathroom, towels should be placed on the floor if you wish them to be replaced. Our housekeeping team has therefore been instructed not to replace towels that are left hanging on the towel rack, as part of our environmental commitment.
As for breakfast, it is included in the room rate and features a generous selection of both sweet and savoury items, along with a variety of homemade cakes. We also offer an à la carte menu with additional specialties for guests who wish to indulge themselves.
We understand that the price of our suites—which offer 85 m² of space, two bathrooms, two balconies, a south-facing orientation and stunning mountain views—represents a significant investment. Please know that we also offer more affordable room categories that are very comfortable and perfectly suited for families.
We do not offer an all-inclusive package, as this is not part of the philosophy of our hotel or the style of experience we wish to provide. We understand that this may not suit everyone's expectations.
We sincerely hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back for another stay and, this time, to exceed your expectations in every respect.

Zero cybersecurity for this hotel
The setting is magnificent, the food is good, but there is one aspect that many people overlook: cybersecurity. This hotel is one of the most negligent. If you paid by card at this hotel, be very careful. To prove it to you, I am showing you two screenshots of this establishment's negligence. It is clear that this hotel does not perform updates. Example: obsolete PHP 8.3.30 or Apache 2.4.66. There are several other vulnerabilities, but I will not publish them, of course! I have already contacted the hotel, but there was no reaction.

Could Not Have Asked for More
First off, Les Deux Alpes is simply an amazingly beautiful destination. On top of that, my wife, daughters, and I all enjoyed the chalet. It's charming. Equally charming were all the staff members at the front desk and in the restaurant. I was there for a cycling event and needed a lot of logistical support. The chalet staff assisted me with every request. Honestly, I was shocked because they were 100% accommodative. My family also enjoyed the stay: the food, drinks, sightseeing, shopping---all of it was unique to us, and thoroughly fun. The chalet's location means you can walk to just about anything you want to do in Les Deux Alpes.

Five unforgettable days
At Chalet Mounier we had five unforgettable days, and if I had to choose one word to describe them, I would choose care. The attention to detail, to the spaces — rooms, dining room, spa, swimming pool — all taken care of with taste and attention. The care for the table, with selected ingredients and never obvious combinations. But above all, care for guests: owners and staff always know how to make people feel comfortable, with a kindness and human warmth that you don't find everywhere. We felt like guests of a family, more than customers of a hotel.

Like at home
We returned to Chalet Mounier for the fifth time and will be back again! Everything is magnificently perfect and welcoming: clean, functional and well-appointed rooms, formidable and well-kept cuisine, friendly and efficient staff. Attentive and helpful owners. For us Chalet Mounier is like staying at home!
