Beautiful
Everything is thought for the well-being and comfort of the host.
A large kitchen welcomes us ,which can be used to prepare a meal. Breakfast is served , hot pastries , coffee , tea , jams , fruit juice , etc....
Graeme had been kind enough to set the table for our dinner.
The room is superb , delicate attention was waiting for us: soft in a cooler.
Warm atmosphere and high tec , a very nice bathroom and a large well heated room!!
Closed parking is also a real plus.
Thank you again for this pleasant time and see you soon.

The ideal pairing...
This is a small 2 room facility, but is perfectly appointed to the highest quality.
The bedroom had everything we needed, and more.
Sometimes choosing to drive or ride a motorcycle, private secure parking is a real value add for me and this has that, which is not often the case with this size of property.
As hosts, Graeme and Phil couldn't have been better suited for what we needed, although I doubt I actually needed the very enjoyable nightcap and conversation provided after the 6 course tasting menu and wine pairing at Le Compostelle.
In short this is a great spot with excellent facilities and very warm welcome.
We would not hesitate to return

We are so humbled that you felt so welcome in our home. After your long (and soaking wet) journey on your bike, we could tell you would welcome a hot "brew".
After a short rest and a walk around our little village to sample the take away pizza, we chatted over a glass of wine and we could see the look of relaxation forming on both your faces. We are so pleased you enjoyed your stay with us and if you would like to explore the Charente further, we would love to have you stay with us again. Meeting you both was an absolute pleasure, so much so, you both got a hug to send you on your onward journey.
