An exceptional welcome in a soothing setting

We had a wonderful stay at the cottages of the Rimbertière. The welcome is really warm, we feel immediately at home. The hosts are available and answer all questions with great precision. Everything was designed to make us feel good, and our expectations were far exceeded. The place is beautiful and very soothing, perfect to disconnect and enjoy precious moments with family or friends. We leave with beautiful memories!

We stayed in this area with a group, and this experience was extremely disappointing.
Upon our arrival, we noticed a blatant lack of general maintenance. The cottages were dirty, with mold on some walls and ceilings, moisture marks around the windows, damaged furniture, exteriors left abandoned with trash, leaves, and broken equipment.
The pool was in an unacceptable state: dirty water and walls, presence of mold, and a clear lack of maintenance. For accommodation highlighting this equipment, it is unacceptable.
The catering (full board catering service) was also a great disappointment. The quality of the meals was mediocre, far from what one can expect from a catering service. Even more seriously, several dishes served were leftovers that had already been offered during previous meals, which is completely unacceptable for this type of service.
Unfortunately, the staff mirrored the rest: unwelcoming and allowing themselves to raise their voices in front of the vacationers, with inappropriate remarks. We felt a lack of consideration throughout our stay. At our departure, no one was present to greet us or simply check that everything had gone well.
I strongly advise against this establishment until a genuine effort is made regarding cleanliness, maintenance of the facilities, quality of the dining services, and professionalism of the staff. An experience we will not repeat.

Good pace hiding a disappointing experience.

The place had been rented to two groups: result a lost vacation afternoon to settle the dispute! The spa room, sauna, etc. was closed as unusable although the service was provided in the price. The pool was not maintained as much the water as the surroundings and so we were not able to use it. The cleanliness of the rooms also left something to be desired... The owner is absent.

poor living conditions

The site is nice but the management is disastrous. Arrival and installation of our group for 6 days on Wednesday 29 April. On April 30, the owner asked us to move out to make room for another group because the double booking exceeded its accommodation capacity, asking this group to negotiate with us our departure! Then the services offered were not available (SPA, JACUZZI). The indoor pool was accessible but dirty (water correct). There is a general lack of maintenance (toilets not working in one of the cottages, leak in the kitchen at the sink).
