Stayed here overnight during our journey back home from Italy to Scotland. Lovely hotel, great location in the characterful town of Thann, good parking. Our room was very nice and had good views of the grounds. The bed and bathroom were also good and the level of fittings and fixtures in the room was better than average. We were delighted to discover that we were staying in the same room as occupied by General De Gaulle in 1945! Our dinner in the restaurant was very good and the local wine excellent, however a bit on the expensive side. There is also a very nice resident dog! Breakfast was good with some spectacular pastries but we were a little disappointed not to be served with real coffee but with the usual dispensed from the ubiquitous coffee machine!

a masterclass of awful hospitality!
I am usually much more forgiving and I avoid bad critics. But this one crossed all boundaries. Not only the receptionist did not take responsibility he also made a full theater as if I am the "bad guy". Here is a masterclass of awful hospitality!
If you enjoy paying premium prices to experience a 1-star hostel, this is the spot for you.
For starters, there is no elevator, which is “fantastic news” unless you happen to have knee problems and can't climb steep stairs with luggage. Once you make it to the second floor, don't expect a hot shower. Instead, you'll get the full theatrical performance of "Wait 20 minutes with the water running!" and "But the water IS hot!" when it is, in fact, standard cold tap water.
The resolution offered? "Come with me to the basement shower." When I sensibly refused, the receptionist's customer service instinct was to shut the lights off on me, leaving me to navigate an unknown stairwell in pitch darkness. I guess they saved the budget for the shower shampoo, which is a stunning 1-star quality brand.
Breakfast was equally “delightful”. Ordering an omelet gets you a massive sour face from the waiter, and if you want a basic hard-boiled egg, prepare for a fun DIY project. But for the photo, they show you a misleading white table maps.
Need help at night? You are completely on your own. If you try using the archaic, dusty prop of a room phone to call the desk, you'll get silence. To actually reach the receptionist, you have to walk down the stairs, knock on the door, and wake the poor man up from the lobby floor, where he locks himself with a long security bar.
The staff clearly strives to do the absolute bare minimum, if that. The receptionist considers it a massive personal favor to speak English, and when I dared to complain about the cold water, he threatened to speak only in French. Fun.
Do yourself a massive favor and stay away.

Charming hotel in a beautiful park just minutes from the city center of Thann.
The room was spotless.

Without fault and reproach, highly recommended
I felt the two days very comfortable there.
Located in a very quiet side street; there is practically no car traffic; you can sleep with the window open.
My room had a beautiful view of Thann Church and the adjacent vineyards.
I couldn't complain about cleanliness at all; it was all picobello.
The restaurant holds an exceptionally high standard for this price. The breakfast is also of high quality and very varied.
The premises (salon, restaurant and breakfast room) are in a dignified and very well maintained condition. There is no music sound (not to mention constantly running TVs as in a number of other hotels).
By bike or on foot, you can be in nature in 10 minutes at the latest and Enterprise extensive hikes.

Charming hotel friendly
Charming hotel full of history. Very quiet. Comfortable room. Service is very professional. Rosa is very attentive to customers. The restaurant's cuisine is of very good quality but a little expensive. Same for the expensive breakfast compared to the offer offered.
