A Memorable Holiday in France.

This was my second visit to Le Moulin du Chemin, my first in 2022 shortly after Vince and Sarah had taken over, and our group of 8 cyclists from Somerset descended upon them. They showed such good hospitality then that I had to come back, and they didn't disappoint. We were a group of 3 this time and although weather wasn't great for cycling some days, Vince and Sarah managed to suggest some interesting alternative local attractions and were kind enough to take us there.
The food, drink and hospitality during our stay was excellent, especially Vince's fabulous Friday barbecue by the pool, and we were made to feel more like family than guests.
The setting of Le Moulin du Chemin in rural France is great for putting you in relaxed holiday mode. A great holiday and a big thank you to Vince and Sarah for making us feel so welcome.

Very nice experience in the heart of nature with our dogs

A small corner of paradise in the heart of nature, a quiet and quiet place. A true haven of peace that we have greatly appreciated. Our dogs loved being able to walk freely around the compound and playing with the owners' dogs. Everything was perfect, the meal and breakfast delicious. The owners are lovely and we had a very pleasant time with them.

Rural retreat and full-on pampering!

SPENT A GLORIOUS WEEK AT THIS WELL RUN ESTABLISHMENT. THE RURAL LOCATION IS KEY - PERFECT PLACE TO RELAX AND RECHARGE. THEN THE OWNERS, SARAH AND VINCE, ARE SO PROFESSIONAL - HOUSEKEEPING AND VINCE'S SUPERB CATERING - THAT IT HURTS TO HAVE TO LEAVE!!

An excellent week.

Sarah & Vince Peacocke were wonderful hosts at their rural retreat in the heart of the Vendee. The rooms were impeccable, stylish, spacious and comfortable and ensured a peaceful night's sleep.
The hospitality was warm and Sarah and Vince went to great lengths to respond to the needs of their guests. Vince is the master chef, providing delicious and copious breakfasts, lunches and 4 course suppers on the vine covered patio. We joined other guests for aperitifs, good wine and good conversation.
I enjoyed a relaxed weeks watercolour painting, the highlight being the discovery of the 50 year old John Deere tractor, lovingly restored by Vince.
We also had the pleasure of trips to neighbouring small towns, organised by our hosts, including an organ recital, a visit to a local hostelry and a unique exhibition of robotic animals, Les Machines, constructed in the former shipyards in Nantes.
An excellent week.

A wonderful experience

We had such a wonderful experience at this properties. The hosts were very social and gave us some excellent advice for our possible relocation to France. We also met with other guests who were charming and engaging. There are big dogs on the property who are very affectionate and well-behaved. Lovely time!
