Excellent stay at the small hotel!
Perfect!
Excellent welcome from the moment of booking by phone, a recently renovated hotel, it’s charming!
Our superior sea view room was very comfortable, a breakfast of good regional products, all just a stone's throw from the beach and the city center.
I recommend it 200%!!

Disappointing
Unfortunately, I won’t be returning.
It’s a great shame as the hotel is newly renovated and in a great location. But our kindle (electronic reader) went missing from our room when we were at breakfast. Little was done to recover it.
It was only five days after our departure, after I had insisted they check the security cameras, that it mysteriously reappeared in the safe of the room.
This was surprising because we had obviously fully checked the entire room. We did that twice. Once when we discovered the loss and then again at our departure. It wasn’t there.
Furthermore, the hotel then refused to post it back to us claiming it wasn’t safe to post, making us question whether it even had been “found”.
Disappointing.

Small hotel
Located just a few meters from the large beach, clean room, welcoming staff.
We took a standard room, cramped but comfortable, facing the courtyard.
Unable to tolerate the air conditioning, by opening the window, we encountered a deafening noise apparently coming from fans on the roof.

A beautiful experience
We can only recommend this hotel ideally located in the centre of Saint Jean de Luz, with public parking within 100 m.
Tranquility, refined decoration, source of soothing, and to crown this beautiful experience, a team available, welcoming and full of kindness.
We've had a lot of experiences in Saint Jean de Luz for many years, but this one has our preference.

Clean and courteous
The location is great. The hosts were friendly and helpful. The Hotel location is a stones through from the beach.
The room was immaculately clean. Plenty of towels and robes. the sliding door was a little stiff to open and close and a waste paper basket in the bedroom could be added. Great shower, large bath and sink. Table by mirror (to dry hair and do make up) would be a good addition. The balcony was large but I'd have prefered a seaview. It was overlooking building works. We were out most of the day but the builders did start work at 8.30am so if you like a "lie in" you may prefer another hotel.
We tended to get back for a siesta and were fortunate not to hear much. The hosts let us leave our luggage all day as we had a late flight from Biarritz. Thank you
