Fabulous , place to discover

We celebrated our wedding on this fabulous estate so we had booked all 5 rooms in order to stay there.
They are welcoming, clean and with every comfort possible.
You have access to the pool and the place is beautiful.
Total calm.....

Authentic French Farmhouse

My family and I stayed here in August 2015 for one night on our way down to the south of France. We found the accommodation very clean and comfortable for the four of us.
The owner speaks little or no English but we did not find this an issue as my wife speaks French. If you are lucky Elliot the dog will shake your hand......if he feels like it :)
We arrived around 1900 and ended up eating at a local pizza restaurant in Charmes called Au Bonheur du Four or La Pizza Marie. The pizzas were absolutely lovely and would recommend if you arrive late like we did.

B&B on working farm - stacks of rustic charm & very comfortable

We received a very warm welcome from our hosts, our French is pretty poor but they went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed - nothing was too much trouble.
Our kids loved staying in a converted barn within the grounds of a working farm. We were invited to use the pool and also enjoyed a few drinks from the bar (which was hosting a 'dance' for the local villagers at the time) & we also made a big fuss of Elliot - their handsome Labrador dog..
The B&B is surrounded by farmland and even has a church on the site that dates back to 1157!
We had a typical continental breakfast - fresh croissants and baguettes and the room was very comfortable, making our stay excellent value for money.
The recommended restaurant L'origano was 'sublime' and only 10 minute drive away - the decor is 'OK' but the home cooked Italian food was simply the best we have tasted & excellent value.(we were returning from Italy) (http://www.linternaute.com/restaurant/restaurant/142123/l-origano.shtml)

Ideal overnight location few minutes from national Road, Hydromassage bath really relaxing!

After a long days travel from Italy, it was a relief to pull into the auberge 'Les Templiers' - an impressive ancient French farmhouse with massive barns, its own 900 year old chapel/church and surrounded by rolling fields of rapeseed. Accomodation I would say fairly newly renovated, comprises 6 individual duplex accomodation with own entrances, outside table/chairs . Ours had sitting room, dressing room, bathroom with hydromassage bath on the lower floor and a bedroom with TV and further comfy leather chairs at mezzanine level. Check in is only after 18.00 and your breakfast of juice, tea/coffee, bread, jam can either be left on the windowsill or taken in the auberge to be taken between 08.30-10.30. A late check out time of midday made this a tranquil, comfortable and relaxing stay. The owner Jose was most friendly.

Super fijne plek voor overnachting doorreis!

In de loop van de middag aangekomen op deze prachtige locatie! Gelijk zwemmen, dus dat was zeer prettig!
Wij hadden een zeer nette 4 persoonskamer, met meer dan genoeg ruimte om de nacht door te brengen.
Pizza gehaald in het nabijgelegen dorp en in de tuin van de B&B opgegeten! Echt prachtig!
Ontbijt was meer dan voldoende en was allemaal vers. Kortom, topverblijf!
