We just returned from our first visit to Paris. Our stay at the Stella Hotel was fantastic. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There was always someone at the front desk ready to serve. The hotel was always clean and the housekeeping staff did an excellent job taking care of our room.
We were surprised at how large the bed and the bathroom were for such a small boutique hotel, it was fabulous.
We stayed for 8 nights and loved being there at the Stella Hotel. There were plenty of pastry/bakery/restaurants located along the street (Carnot) and nearby and we tried several of them and enjoyed them all. We thought the location was excellent with quick access to the subway, Arc de Triomphe, and Champs-Élysées.
The weather was actually cool during most of our stay but there were a few warm days and the A/C worked beautifully when we needed it.
When we return to Paris, we will definitely want to stay here at the Stella again.

Disgusting hotel room.

DISGUSTING HOTEL ROOM. There was MOLD, FECES and WHITE SPLASHES on the bed. My friend and I cried for an hour because of how disgusting it was. We left and they cancelled the booking without giving us our refund back. Do not go here if you have ANY standards for cleanliness.

This tiny apartment is all about the location. to be able to look at your window and see the arc de triumph was perfect and the staff was incredibly friendly from keeping our keys for us each time we went out to making sure we understood how to use the Metro. The rooms are extremely tiny, but as long as you’re prepared for that, you will have a wonderful experience. I would stay here again.

Horrific, Unethical, Does not allow a baby

Our experience was deeply concerning and, in our view, demonstrated unethical business practices.
Despite disclosing at the time of booking that we were travelling with an infant, the hotel refused to honour our reservation upon arrival, claiming that children were not permitted. This directly contradicted the property's published policies, which state that children are welcome. At no point before arrival were we informed that our booking would not be honoured.
The hotel then refused to provide accommodation, retained the full amount of our prepaid stay, denied our request for a refund, and demanded an additional €700 in cash to arrange alternative accommodation for the night.
In our opinion, these actions are both unethical and potentially unlawful. We have reported the matter to the appropriate local authorities and the French tourism authorities for investigation.
If you value transparent policies, ethical business practices, and confidence that a confirmed reservation will be honoured, AVOID Stella hotel.

Good

Well-located hotel, close to the Arc de Triomphe, the hotel is simple and basic,
Clean rooms, friendly staff
Average breakfast…
No smoking area, forced to smoke on the sidewalk, no outdoor ashtray.... Saturday night ruined by the riots from the PSG match, right under our windows!!!!
